Contemporary singer Anna Clementi meets the Alien Alien.
Together they cross boundaries for a visionnaire timeless anthem: NO G.D.M., the cult song by German electro pioneer Gina X.
Originally released in 1979, it's a sublime portrait of the British dandy icon Quentin Crisp, one of the fathers of the queer culture.
Anna Clementi and Alien Alien dig to the heart of voodoo: summoning, obsession, hypnosis, slow ritual dance. With an unpredicted twist, which leads the scene to another level.
The dub version by Hugo Sanchez leads the track even more towards the essence of funk: obscure tribal percussions, revealing a noir soul.

"Balearic Social make their first foray into the vinyl market with the otherworldly dancefloor genius of the mysterious and mystical Eirwud Mudwasser. Hailing from Bucharest, this sonic sorcerer calls on the sun, the moon and all four elements to summon a quartet of restless spirits to your turntable. Opening cut "Ziggurat" rolls in on a moonlit tide, bringing future primitive percussion, naive synth melodies and eerie pads to a distant shore. As those airy leadlines begin their astral projection, the rumbling bass and fizzing synth hold you down in the centre of the dancefloor. Now you're loosened up nicely, the limber rhythm of "Shivers" begins to work its hypnotic magic, putting you into a dancefloor trance with tribal polyrhythm and rattling percussion while ? instructs you in the fine art of transmutation. As the horror veteran peaks, the track breaks out into a killer voodoo groove topped with island melodies and echo drenched vamps - undeniable dancefloor magic! Eirwud keeps things nice and psychedelic on the flip, conjuring "Caldafar" out of the early morning mists in a shimmering swirl of chilly vibes, percolating sequences and deep bass chug.It's Dense, exotic and totally trippy. We invited a team of champions to remix "ILPI001 - Pigmalião" and we are proud to present to you the debut EP "ILPR001 - Pigmalião Remixed"

Starting by the head honcho from "Themes For Great Cities", monsieur Lucas Croon remixing the track Aurora, spicing the groove with some beautiful classic drum machines and trippy atmospheric layers. M.RUX's wonderful version of Zingili transports you to an unexpected, soft and intriguing territory while flirts with syncopated schizophrenic grooves. Ground's minimalistic version of Baskéda jumps into a hypnotic acidic vibe full of surprises and intense for the dance floor peak. And "nel gran finale" Rodion's cyberpunk version of Bahiafro has an imposing strong bass line attitude and futuristic layers.

PRÉMIÈRE: Pigmalião - Aurora (Lucas Croon Remix) [I Lost My Poncho In Istanbul]

In 2019, Parisian cinema composer Jean-Gabriel Becker and Japanese composer and multiinstrumentalist Susumu Mukai embarked on the making of an album that was ultimately going to become Time Very Near. The album that had been their focus for most of 2019 was finally released with great acclaim in April 2020 through the strangest time in history and echoed with their fellow musicians and producers for its singularity and originality. Prompted by a few unsolicited offers for remixes, Becker & Mukai saw an occasion to invite their community of musician and producer friends to re-invent, deconstruct and rebuild the songs on “Time Very Near”.
Studio mates, friends and colleagues accepted to play the game and re-arranged the pair's global grooves and clattering beats into brand new original tracks. They all contributed to make the line-up for this project read like a who's who of London's electronic music scene:
Joe Goddard from Hot Chip, who, from his studio next door, had been a witness of the birth of the project, was kind enough to unleash his killer beats on Spice War. Old friend Jas Shaw of Simian Mobile Disco fame transformed the tropical sounds of Dark Fields Of The Republic into a dance-floor ready techno workout.. Long-time collaborator and friend Sasa Crnobrnja (In Flagranti, Mytron & Ofofo, Auf Togo) took Time Very Near on a trip to Jamaica. Label mate AMA//MIZU stripped Tout Azimuth down to its core to rebuild it with his unique
production skills.
Dreems delivered a sweltering 19 minute version of Dark Fields Of The Republic and a
shorter version more suited for a vinyl listen...
And finally Becker and Mukai chose to don alternative monikers (Zongamin for Mukai and
Lux Prima for Becker) to re-interpret their own compositions...
Like the original album, this remix project gathers sounds and inspiration from an everexpanding palette of influences, assembled into something amorphously intangible that’s simultaneously refreshing and sharp, meandering and cosmic, futuristic but timelessly vintage and manages to expand where the original album left off. In a similar process, the remix album's cover is a re-invention of the original album art and will echo the collaborative collage that was created by the pair for “Time Very Near”.
