99LETTERS aka. Takahiro Kinoshita, a Japanese artist who has been an active member of the local Japanese underground scene and has a knack to create deep and atmospheric soundscapes.

Early on he was producing chip-tunes using a Nintendo Gameboy, these experiments gravitated him towards a more raw and esoteric house and techno soundscapes.

Takahiro Kinoshita says BYAKUYA/MIDNIGHT SUN’ EP was composed by using various noise components and Tape-like sounds to take the listener on a fascinating and atmospheric voyage.

10th digital release of Scotiish finest Invisible, Inc. comes courtesy of Budapest's Bal5000.

It's his second EP for the label, the first being the Bleu Infini EP back in 2017(although some stellar tracks of his did appear on the Lost Transmissions compilation which is getting a repress this year and the Invisible Family EP#3).

For those unfamiliar with him, Bal5000 was pretty big on the drum & bass circuit a decade or so ago (known simply as "Bal" back then) but more recently he's been exploring this kind of bass-heavy spaced house and slo-mo acid sound like you'll find here. Kind of reminiscent of I:Cube a little...but you'll find it definitely has its own distinct flavour.

Myths about whales came from the East to the Greeks and thus were included in the Apocrypha. The rickety old station didn't see much thoroughfair, in fact barely a soul had been seen on the platforms for years. Many had moved on from the surrounding villages, it had become a ghostly place with little around to keep inhabitants there. People never passed through here, there were no visitors or holiday-makers, but every now and then a mysterious train would appear; where it was headed nobody knew - a train to nowhere without a destination.

Subfield boss, DJ and producer Mugwump is back with a brand new album. Pneuma follows his previous long players Unspell and Drape, and builds on the slow, psychedelic sounds that make up his sound world. This time he aims the release more at the dance floor, mixing leftfield house, krautrock, dubbed-out disco and electro across the LP's 10 tracks. Mugwump's sardonic and alert lyrics take centre stage on the original cuts and the handful of covers, one of UK band Swing Out Sister and another from influential rock band Television’s Tom Verlaine, as well as a collab' with Berlin chamber music duo Ceeys.
