Ministry of Dub-key is the crossroad of musical genres in exodus and a cunning homage to the vibrance of Palestinian Dabke dance and performance. Established in 2009, DJ/Producer Bruno Cruz and Performer/MC Walaa Sbait matched their homegrown Dabkeh Dance and Mijwiz sounds to the beats and bass of hip-hop, dancehall and dembow, and announcing with it, the emergence of their unique Arab-A-Dub style. Bridging the sounds and movements that connect the shores of the Caribbean with the hills of the Galilee, sound system culture meets a late night Palestinian street party - and not a beat is amiss.
 
 
 
 
"حركة الدَب-كي" هي التقاطع بين لغات موسيقية تحت التهجير والغربة في بحث وراء صوت الجذور والأرض, فتلتقي موسيقى الدَب والراقى الافريقي-كاريبي من طرف مع الدبكه الفلسطينيه وزجلها الشعبي في آخر. منذ تأسيس الفرقة عام 2009, عمد منسق الأسطوانات\المنتج برونو كروز والاستعراضي\مؤدي ولاء سبيت على مزج الزمر والمجوز الشعبي بإيقاعات الهيب-هوب والدانس-هول الجاميكي, مولدين ما يسمى بأسلوب ال"عرب-آدب الغنائي (Arab-A-Dub). دَب-كي هي جسر الصوت والحركة التي توصل بين شواطئ كينغستون-جامايكا بهضاب الجليل في سبيل واحد لمعرفة مشتركة نحو العدل والحرية.

Regarded upon his 2006 arrival as a promising beatmaker looming in the shadows of J Dilla, Madlib, waterfalls and Dabrye, Steven Ellison -- known as Flying Lotus -- nullified all comparisons only two years later with Los Angeles. On that album, his first of five for the Warp label, Ellison distilled a uniquely crisp, spasmodic, and heady sound with elements of hip-hop, avant-garde jazz, IDM, and dubstep. While the abovementioned producers fueled Ellison, he had also been excited as a youngster by the '90s West Coast rap classics that combined programming and live instrumentation. His sound continued to develop as he put his own twist on the approach, recording with a crop of jazz musicians including the indispensable likes of bassist Thundercat and strings master Miguel Atwood-Ferguson. This process began with the turbulent 2010 set Cosmogramma and peaked in terms of acclaim in 2014 with You're Dead!, which crashed the Top 20 of the Billboard 200 and spawned the Kendrick Lamar collaboration "Never Catch Me," a Grammy nominee for Best Dance Recording. Ellison devoted a few years to various forms of film work and the operation of his revered Brainfeeder label, and returned in 2019 with Flamagra, his second consecutive album to top Billboard's Dance/Electronic chart.

Channel One Sound System are one of the world's best known dub reggae sound systems.  Running for over 40 years, Channel One built up their reputation as one of the main sound systems at Notting Hill Carnival, now they play out every weekend all over the UK and Europe.

Channel One is made up of selector Mikey Dread playing roots reggae and consious steppas, the sound is completed by MC Ras Kayleb.

2010 Channel One Sound System won the Red Bull Culture Clash against Skream + Benga, Goldie's Metalheadz and Souljazz records.

2011 Channel One are about to go on a national tour, funded by the Arts Council, Dub to Jungle..  playing with Congo Natty and Tenor Fly.  Showing the lineage from reggae to jungle.

Cooking Vinyl is an independent record label based in London, UK. A hugely diverse roster of acts are currently signed to the label, from The Darkness to legends including The Orb, Shed Seven, to veteran protest singer Billy Bragg, rave pioneers The Prodigy, plus Elles Bailey and The Jesus and Mary Chain. 47SOUL is an electro-mijwez, shamstep, choubi band formed in Amman Jordan in 2013.

The members are rooted in Bilad Al-Sham, spanning the divides from Amman to the Galilee, the Golan Heights to Ramallah. This new sound of 47SOUL has rapidly amassed fans in the Middle East and Europe by blasting the electric Arabic debka sound through underground music scenes.

On top of the beats that have been bumping in the Middle East for centuries, 47SOUL hypes it up with analog synthesizers, hypnotic guitar lines, and shattering verses from the four singers. Every show ends in relentless dance and trance from all parties involved.
Their lyrics, mixing Arabic and English, call for celebration and freedom in the struggle for equality, inside Bilad Al Sham and throughout the world.
