Sheist T has been a competitor his entire life; from his high school days as a star athlete, til now, as one of Chicago's hottest producers. Sheist T was recently nominated for Record Producer of the Year at the 32nd Annual Chicago Music Awards along with: Kanye West, Young Chop, Da Internz, John Blu, Rico Lumpkins and Naki The Beatman, but it doesn't stop there. Sheist T also released his new hit single titled "Stepping" Ft. Michael Jackson last fall, which is now available on iTunes, Amazon, Google Play, eMusic and more. This past summer (2012) Sheist T produced a track featuring six Chi-Town legends including: AK of Do or Die, Cold Hard and Nevermore of Crucial Conflict, Buk of Psychodrama, R.O.B of Snypaz and Dawreck of Triple Darkness/Traxster Inc. for the first time ever, titled "Too Krazy". The song was originally aired on Power 92's Raw TV Radio hosted by Sean Dale, received excellent reviews by Fakeshoredrive (Chicago's hottest blog site), and was placed on numerous mixtapes. Sheist T released his solo debut album "Da M.V.P" (Most Valuable Producer) in 2011 under his own entertainment company, On The Run Entertainment. Not only was Sheist T nominated for Producer of the Year at the 2011 Independent Artist Recognition (I.A.R) Awards ceremony, he also took the throne as the 2007 Midwest Music Mix "Best Rapper". Currently, Sheist T is in the process of working on two different short films.  The first film titled, Detained, is produced/directed by Antonio Polk (Barbershop 2).  Sheist T roles include:  sound design, movie score and mixing.  The second movie titled, The Right Way, is directed by Joseph Farrow.  This movie will be Sheist T's acting debut and he is looking to receive a lead role in the film.  Without having a musical background like most producers, Sheist has progressed rapidly over the years opening for major artists such as: Twista, Do or Die, Crucial Conflict, Psychodrama, Bo Deal, John Blu, Hopsin, Young Dro, Gorilla Zoe, Huey, D12 and more. Wanting to take his music to the next level, Sheist T enrolled into Columbia College Chicago in '09 majoring in Audio, Arts, & Acoustics. Sheist T is now a recent graduate of Columbia College Chicago's Class of 2013.
