‘[No Return]’ is the brand-new album dropping from Forbidden Society, one of his biggest projects yet and proving that despite the restrictions of the last two years he’s repeatedly invested in his music. A label owner, producer, DJ and clothing brand creator, he’s demonstrated how he’s able to tap into a wide variety of markets - however it’s his music that’s enabled him to do this. Standing pride of place within his field and a pivotal part of the drum & bass and 140 scenes within Czechia, he continues to pull in crowds of thousands to witness his raucous sets. And ‘[No Return]’ follows in the footsteps of his recent collaboration with Audio on his ‘[Unsocial]’ LP through RAM Records, as well as his first release on Noisia’s VISION, whilst being another addition to his already impressive trophy cabinet. 
Alongside the dark, brooding moods of its title-track, through to the lumbering rhythms of ‘Sulpor’, Forbidden Society takes you down into the depths of his production with ‘[No Return]’. Tracks like ‘The Craft’ and ‘Disappointment’, ‘Overthinking’, ‘Mirrors’, ‘Dread’ and ‘Illusions’ keep the album’s drum & bass edge, meanwhile ‘Still Waters’ takes a softer approach as it rolls out. For the final five records Forbidden Society then switches down the tempo, with 140 selections like ‘Undark’ providing an even deeper introspection into the producer’s work. ‘Reflect’ creates a foreboding atmosphere before kicking you with its weighty subs whilst ‘Mondays’ and ‘Liar’ maintains the assault. Wrapping up with the dark trenches of ‘Sulpor’, which kicks through with subterranean levels, it’s an intimidating collection of tracks. Forbidden Society goes for the jugular and leaves no prisoners with this forthcoming release.  
April will see Forbidden Society once again add to his journey as he explores his sound. And for those lucky enough to witness his music, whether that’s in a festival or club setting, the new music provided by the DJ and producer will submerge them in a world he’s been building sonically for years. One which he’s only just beginning to reveal.

About Aiokai
Aiokai is a drum & bass and dubstep producer from Mexico. He also likes to explore other genres like uk garage, future garage, breakbeat, breakbeat hardcore and juke/footwork. His DJ Sets are known to have a constant flux, altering the mood depending on what’s happening on the dance floor, never switching genres without accounting for structure, vibes, and groove. He is known for being an important part of the Mexican junglist scene.

He has played in Italy, Croatia and England and alongside artists such as DJ Marky, MC Fava, Run Tingz, Calculon and more. He considers that working at the Outlook Festival in 2018 and 2019 has given him a rich taste in multiple music genres. He is also a music production, sound design and sound engineering teacher. Aiokai works as a music promoter with multiple agencies such as Jungle Empire, BLDSMX and TLILTIC. In the last two, he also manages and does A&R for their respective record labels. He also works as a music writer, interviewer and curator in TLILTIC Radio, an online electronic music magazine and platform.

About Strangle
Formerly known as Oxxo, Strangle is one of the most fruitful and longest lasting producers of the Latin American Drum & Bass scene. He returns after 7 long years of silence with this new Alter Ego, promising to deliver crisp, futuristic Drum & Bass tracks.
In his long trajectory of more than 15 years in the scene, he has published tracks in world-class labels like Low Freq Mx, Darkvibe Recs, Audio Nasty and Type G Audio, where he shares roster with artists like Konichi, Decimal Bass, Monotype, Shufunk, Dub Zero and many more.

Scapegoat and Black Sheep are two dark 160 bpm mosh pits, finishing with a tear jerker punch to the face Tolduso at 140.

Scapegoat and Black Sheep were sketched out for 160 bpm, prompted by a conversation about a possible collaboration, but in the end these stayed instrumentals with dark elements of drum n bass, dubstep and footwork intermingling like bass face cousins. Tolduso is an Ivy Lab-esque summer anthem candidate.

Scapegoat EP represents personal anguish, the mental torment of losing the support of several core relationships simultaneously. To go from respected and cherished to the blame for everything wrong, is a jarring shock to the system, and a painful reminder of how quickly people can turn on you regardless of how close you were beforehand..

Through intense self scrutiny however, positives may arise. Black sheep are the ones who speak out against things and make some noise and sometimes, you are not the black sheep because of who you are, but rather because of other people’s issues that they are projecting onto you. And sometimes, the black sheep turns into the G.O.A.T.

Losing the support of several core relationships all at once feels like 1000 daggers twisting in my gut, but through the pain I am coming into my power even more, and discovering a new level of resilience, independence and strength.
