Frenquency’s sophomore EP with 4NC¥ is a hits heavy with halftime 80 bpm Hip Hop/ early grime/dubstep, uptempo footwork inspired rhythms and chopped up vocals.
 
Staying true to his style, Frenquency has used a lot of wobbly bass and has layered it up with square-ish synth that gives the listener undertones of grime and early days of Dubstep! 
 
Juxtaposing those with warm vibes of the rhode synth with a fast paced 160 bpm beat  gives the track “It’s Crack” that true Footwork vibe, which he produced together with Rotterdam based producer Bankster Beats. 
 
The third tune called ‘‘The Way’’ features Melbourne producer Raptorhandz. The duo produced this track together while Frenquency was touring through Japan and Australia in the pre covid era! “The Way'' is a halftime track that switches gears half way and ends with a footwork climax!

Frenquency was already intrigued by all kinds of music when he was merely four years old. Nowadays that sparkling interest has manifested itself into him producing different electronic sounds and music, for inside the club and outside it as well. In July 2019, Frenquency released his ‘My World’ EP on LA based Black Marble Collective. In the last couple of years he released several EP’s: ‘Starfunk EP’ (2017) on Black Marble Collective, the ‘Greyscale EP’ (2015) on Hamburg based label Saturate Records and three EP’s on Amsterdam based Basserk Records. Besides EP’s he dropped a bunch of tracks, bootlegs and remixes on several labels worldwide.

‘Safire’ Plasma audio founder...originates from the world of drum and bass production, his latest cuts encompass a collation of new influences with several upcoming EP’s in the schedule for 2021, ranging from club based half time, lofi/soul inspired beats to drum and bass. 

'Landing' is the first drop from from the the upcoming EP, infusing a laid back lofi hip hop vibe with wonky bass music thats designed to be on repeat in the lounge, setting the tone for an exciting new canvas of exploration for Safire. The first single ‘Landing’ drops March 26th 2021 accompanied by hand drawn illustration from Akane Ito from QQQ design.

Third Soul Ex Machina single brings back dubstep bassweight from Slovak producer Rich. The release opens up with "Spaceship". Very minimalistic, simplistic and even more powerful dub influenced, low-attenuated bass driven heater. Dubby drums are up to accompany eerie flutes and vocals into a package ready for the soundsystem!
"Wheels Dub" is the tune Rich kept up as a prized dubplate for a long time and now it is the right moment to put it out. Deepish energetic stepper with dubby roots, with modulated, tearing bassline, haunting growls and subtle delay works. Full, yet minimalistic music ready for bassbins of any rig!

Rich is one to proudly represent Slovak dubstep music scene. Passionate DJ and producer, member of GetGarden and DUB Settlers HiFi Soundsystem, inspired by roots, dub and soundsystem scene, with essence of many other musical styles around.  Focused on low frequencies and dub aesthetics, developing his own approach and preparing to be ready to emerge into the international scene.

The name of the EP is inspired by this documentary called BASSWEIGHT that
