Oceantied is the solo electronic project started by Until We Last guitarist Ketan Bahirat and is an exploration of Ketan’s electronic music headspace. Two New faces to the New Zealand Electronic music scene Ben and Dan launch their duo project called OBSKRA. Making a big statement with their debut release on 4NC¥'s Imprint Darkmode with a 140 Deep Dub release titled "High Density".

Having both deep dived into the world of electronic music since teen years, Ben and Dan are well familiar with the textural abyss of underground 174 and 140 business. Drawing influences from early jungle, tech step and badboy rhythms, these two pioneers of swamp sounds and gulley rhythm are not to be trifled with. Don't test. coming with the best of the west.

Owner and founder of Perth record label SUB ERA as well as A&R of newly formed label //DarkMode.
Releases on Sub Era, 4NC¥ //DarkMode, Sublimate, New Forms, Embassy Crew, and AIA Record Labels.
Sub Filla has been performing since early 2019 and has accomplished a lot in a short time by quickly becoming a common name from showing what he has to offer through his music releases and shows.
He has played at various events around Perth such as Inhibit, Death Disco/Capitol, Riddim, High Life, Protocode, Sub Era, Good Karma Music and Motive to name a few and supported acts such as Flowidus, Zombie Cats, Royalston, Blaine Stranger, Confusious, Terrence & Phillip, Ekko and Sidetrack and more!
His music and releases have seen lots of support in the industry from other artists, radios, labels and recently supported by Skank and Bass and Forbidden Frequencies as well as fetching some great reviews.  With many upcoming releases and shows still left in his packed 2021 calendar, its safe to say it’s going to be one of Sub Filla’s best years!

Atlanta resident Nikki Nair invites you to join his new 4 track EP on Astrophonica - 'Renormalization Support Group'. It's a place where we can share our experiences via the help of Nikki's special 'not quite sure what you call it' bass lead Electro Breakbeat programme.

Track one is 'Plug' - An uptempo low slung booty shaker which will have sound engineers scrambling at cables and faders trying to work out wtf is going on. We've all been there so let's talk about it. 

Track two is 'Where Are U' and encourages us to ask ourselves that question through the exploration of full speed Breakbeat Electro. If we know where we are, we can begin to look into where we are going. Probably the dance floor.

Track three is 'it's NP-Complicated' which sets out an uncomplicated blend of bubbling bass and simple sympathetic drums, providing us with a network to feel more empowered and to build a sense of community. 

Track four is 'Donut Time' - Well done for finishing the course! You can congratulate yourself with a donut full of squelchy acid jam, glazed with frosted pads and hi hat sprinkles.

Since 2011, Simon Hafner aka Sun People from Graz has been merging footwork, juke, jungle and UK hardcore influences to create his own distinctive sound. With releases on labels like Exit, Alphacut, Rua Sound and Through These Eyes, he has made a name for himself in the international 160 bpm scene over the years. In addition to remix jobs and his own productions, Simon also pursues his musically eclectic vision on a highly rated four-weekly radio show on London's Sub.FM.

On his EP The Walls, released in 2020 on Defrostatica, he devoted himself to early Chicago house music as well as European proto-hardcore of the 80s and the turbo sound championed by the likes of Fracture, Itoa and BSN Posse.

In 2022, Sun People presents a refined version of high-speed breakbeat minimalism, drawing further from bleep, dub and even industrial techno, but still with optimistic depth. From the cold bleep-influenced opener Into The New to the jungle-tekno track Overtoom and the tribalism of State of Flux, Sun People builds its own hypnotic approach to captivate dancers. Amaterasu marks the soulful coda and gives us the opportunity to take a breath.

Unchained presents “The Remixes” compilation, a 16 track exploration of sound, encompassing a slew of fresh music by some insanely fresh talent as well as a collection of the label’s best remixes to date. With a universal roster of artists from China, Europe, UK and the States, the LP continues to forward the label’s aim of discovering and embodying unique forms of fast bass music whilst staying true to the foundations of Drum and Bass. 

Representing China, both RADIAX and 3ASIC reinterpret two of the label’s biggest tunes by OAKK and HØST - resonating with elements of rolling DNB, Jump Up, Juke and Hardcore. The hardest hitting track from Drumskull's blazing debut album of last year gets the full 12" and digital EP treatment, re-mastered and cut here by Beau Thomas at Ten Eight Seven, and followed by a high pressure 'Nosebleed' remix by the brilliant ETCH.
