We've been super excited about releasing this record, especially after the success of the first release on 4Plae's Blanc series.

Welsh producer Kye has been producing for some time now, and has built a solid reputation for himself through playing out and running Dogruff with a group of likeminded friends - which has seen the likes of Barac, Rossko, Praslea and many other selectors work the crowd.

'Hopscotch Days EP' is both Kye's debut solo release, as well as being the first time his music has featured on wax - and features remixes from Rowlanz (RLZ Music) and IULY.B (Infuse/Visionquest).

3 is the magic number…

Our third release brings a combination of sounds from some new members to the 4Plae Crew.

A:

Italian producer Alessio Viggiano has been knuckling down, with releases on some well respected labels, his music is getting noticed all over the globe. ‘Where Is My Drink’ demonstrates his sound perfectly, showing what he can do behind the controls.

Tomas Saenz and Rodrigo DP have also been turning heads internationally in the last few months. Both their solo works and collaborations with each other have been played at many a party. We are happy to have them join the family, with their track entitled ‘1212Y’.

B:

Label head ADMNTi incorporates skippy hats and vocal cuts together in his first track on the series. ‘Clima’ opens the B Side up for a more London sound that continues with the last track on the release...

Jordan and Shai have been friends of the label for a while, and their productions have gone down a storm in London, Mannheim and various other cities. ‘Vibrations’ infuses garage sounds with modern house - a combination that can be heard on the duo’s track ‘Diversity’ which featured on Entity:London’s second release

4Plae kick off the first instalment of their Noir series with “Delta Insignia”, a nod to the final frontier and beyond. With two tracks from label founder ADMNTi accompanied by sublime remixes from Bushwacka! and Sam Bangura, this initial release sets the tone for what is to come for 4Plae Noir.

The title track opens the release with luscious pads accompanied with breaky drum patterns. The mood is continued with ‘Vry1’, with and added tinge of electro, which the illustrious Bushwacka! takes to the next level with his remix of the track on the flip side. Close friend of the label and Northsouth co-founder Sam Bangura makes his debut remix appearance to close the EP with an ethereal and deep remix of “Delta Insignia”.

Munir Nadir delivers the 6th release on the 4Plae Blanc imprint. Overflowing with the fun, funk and freaky sounds that the Turin based tastemaker has become known for, the ‘Pull Yourself EP’ is a certified hip shaker - dancing shoes at the ready. 

Some of the labels comrades dish out a couple of luscious remixes on the B Side, Oshana bringing a more floaty feel to ‘Talk About Sex’, reminiscent of some sunny open airs of summers past, whilst our amigo from the Miriam camp, Benson Herbert, gets bumpy with his take on ‘Pull Yourself’.
