 But is that sound the sound that my ears allowed? I think somebody's ears may have chosen the [forgive] sound.
 Because I am not a big teacher, let's stop thinking around here.

CONSOLIDATE EP

Consolidate starts as a friendship story between two passionate musicians. On the one hand, 
AWITW is a very prolific artist producing in many genres, from Synthwave to House music. On the other hand, 
Evin Schneider deals with organic sounds and shapes, natural textures through pads and arpeggios, synthesiser drones and sampling. 
Consolidate is a very smooth EP where one of the artists starts a track with a musical idea and the second one shapes the next idea on top of the previous one. 
It shapes a castle of music layers  where the magic operates. Throughout the six tracks of the EP, smooth synthesisers imitate the shape of water, 
and on top round bass lines and syncopated rhythms bring some groove. Melodies and arpeggios consolidate and unify this rich sonic pallet.

The track Consolidate is the start of the journey. Evin Schneider planted the main idea for the EP : a Lo-Fi and organic feeling. 
On top of it, AWITW could bring is atmospheric universe. Fade is the following with the same principles. 
The duo added some vocal sampling as well as a slow tempo. Here, the deep and natural sounds blend with Drum&Bass elements. 
Evin Schneider's Jazz influences mixes with AWITW's contemplative drones and pads. The third tune, Sonar explores sonic textures that are more authentic and traditionnal, 
close to the music from eastern asia. As the EP project goes forward, the two artists reinforce their understanding of one another and as a result, new ideas arise. 
The fourth track, Refunk is considered as the main title for the EP by the duo. It has a groovy construct with a deep and funky form. The fifth track Detroy took more time to be delivered. 
It started with a synthesiser loop that transformed into a piano tune from Evin Schneider. AWITW managed to create a bridge between these ideas. 
Detroy is definitly the most creative track of the EP. Finally, Everest concludes the musical project with its smooth atmosphere, in the likes of AWITW's style : silky sunrise vibe.

EVIN SCHNEIDER

Evin Schneider dived into electronic music in 2009, while studying in London. He learnt production techniques and explored several styles such as ambient, 
electronica and house music. Piano plays a central role in his production, inspired by japanese masters like Joe Hisaishi and Ryuichi Sakamoto. 
He was also influenced by pianists such as Olafur Arnalds and Nils Frahm, as well as Air or Four Tet. 
Evin Schneider's music is tuned as a multicultural Art gathering electronic music and organic sounds. As a result, the listener travels towards a colourful and warm cinematic universe.
