According to a many mechanic, revving is by no mean required to get the best of a vehicule. In the case of Oakland street, it happens often during weekend night, deep into the night. The tradition is to make noise upon arrival to a rendezvous point, and also, once you leave the location, regardless of the time of the night.

Shout Shut and Silence

When it is time to wrap up after a good night of fun, cooling down is difficult and yelling seems the right choice, but it is not. Think about families, elderly, babies sleeping in the area. They all deserve a good night too.
