Nasi TauTona is a member of the South African rap trio HashOne. His name combines two languages - Nasi means ‘Nation’ in Afrikaans and TauTona “President” in his native tongue Setswana. He is yet another one of many South African hip hop talents to emerge from Mahikeng, the capital of the North West province. 

With an aggressive but still very unique and versatile tone to his voice and flow, he is able to adapt to any style. Flow-wise, his unpredictability, and originality are what sets him apart from the crowd; rhyming in a seemingly unnatural sequence but still keeping it dope. Nasi’s talents have taken him across the globe, including SXSW in Austin Texas,  the StreetKrush Festival in Grorinchem, South Holland,

Though his musical journey is rooted in boom bap, Nasi TauTona is never one to shy away from trying different sounds and genres.
