I've been running in place,
for a week today,
I barely recognize my face,
All my fingers slip away.

I cant hold anything in my hands now,

Why Me?

I'm so tired,
Been walking through a haze,
My fire is dwindling today,
I see this soley for what is is,
Something that i can hardly understand.

I am stuck,
in the same repetitive movement,
The same script every night.
Where i try to work everything out,
and end up passed out on the couch,
and i wake up too early.

It's hard to believe,
that being sad's this cheap,
keep trying to stitch happy,
but my thread is so weak,
i wonder when,
my grasp and footing click,
if something will be solid,
and ill have time for a deep breath.

Dreams such a ruse,
make me feel better than i do,
then i will just break up,
because it never is enough, enough.

that being sad's this cheap,

A cigarette rests on my lips,
The smoke is clouding anything that would help me through this,
I've been so sick,

and I'm a bottomless pit.

And I'm dead impressed tonight,
and stitched into the intricacies of my mind,
I'll get it right,
I'd even try,
If you'd lay down your anxieties for some time.

Enough to find,
This source of why,
I cant move so far,
I'm retching in the front seat,
Cause it aint right,
I feel the breeze,
And it's the only thing right now consoling me.
