As a founder member of San Francisco’s Wicked Sound System, https://www.facebook.com/Garthhound and crew have spent three decades fanning the flames of conscious hell-raising in California. 
His sound is a radical fusion of Acid House, Space Disco & Psych Rock. He has produced more than 60 records mostly on his own labels Grayhound, Wicked and Golden Goose. His remixes include everyone from Strafe, The Units, Tribe Called Quest, Faithless, Perry Farrell, Yabby You & Adam Freeland. Bringing UK sound system culture to San Francisco in 1991, Wicked’s lawless full moon beach parties ushered in an era of Acid House hysteria that ripped through the west coast and spread into the heartland. In 2010 Time Out NY included Garth’s Wicked crew in the top 10 Best House DJs of all time, alongside Frankie Knuckles, Ron Hardy and Tony Humphries. He stays true to the original art form playing all vinyl sets at clubs and festivals around the world.

“I was recently asked to soundtrack between a live act at a venue that I’ve not played before on the island (El Silencio) I was a little unsure about how to approach it as I wanted to keep some energy for the dinners but didn’t want to be too obviously DJ like ahead of the band (who actually turned out to be one dude with a guitar and a vocalist singing in a Flamenco style)  I think it turned out really well. And more importantly so did the clients"

This edition of our mix series features Seattle local and Underscore recordings constituent Mr.Linden. After a small break, we're excited to get the ball rolling again with this stylistically wide-ranging gem of a mix. It's best enjoyed with the vibes of the looming NW fall. 

And now some words from Mr.Linden:

I knew I wanted to stay true to the Innerflight vibe with some kinda bat-cavey lofi, chunky tracks, but I knew it would be a 2 hour (on the nose it turned out) long mix and you gotta have some variance, a journey as it’s often described. So I built up a kind of slow burn that turns into acid techno, some breaks then a little emotional vocals towards the final 3rd. It wraps up with a smooth touchdown of deep house.

One A aka Gehno Aviance is a DJ and producer with deep, deep roots in America's electronic music scene. Born in Spain, Gehno began DJing in 1992, earning recognition at raves and events including Ultraworld (Baltimore), Buzz (Washington DC) and played an instrumental role in the Snowball Collective, "orchestrating some of the most prominent underground events" in the DC area. Gehno transitioned to San Francisco in 1998, and more recently to the country of their birth, Spain. We're delighted to spotlight this multifaceted and fascinating artist for this issue's cover mix.

A one hit mix at TD Towers, for the Birthday Boy, Diz. Many of the tunes I played at our party on Saturday 18th November 2023, "Up The Dancers".

Done in the sanctuary of home and a mix that was gonna be an hour or so, but just ran and ran and ran. Hey! why not?. It's ended up being 3 hours, so an hour for each decade of Diz
