Based in Berlin, Skelesys is a versatile, ever-evolving and particularly cutting- edge artist. He’s a producer and live act with a strong musical background inspired by Hard Rock, Post-Punk, Synth Pop, science fiction and horror movies. His sound could be defined as haunted and effective, the result of a delicate and neat mixture of marked basses and guitar riffs always accompanied by thriller melodies and subtle grooves surrounded by darkness with a stripped down futuristic vibe. His latest EP it's called "Epsilon" came out on Oraculo Records on January 11th physically and digital via Oraculo Records bandcamp and it's already available for preorder

London based DJ and producer; MAN2.0 has graced the decks in Berlin, Edinburgh Manchester and Glasgow as well as rocking the closing Two Tribes party at London clubbing institution the Cause, playing on the same bill as Optimo, Kink and Ben Sims among others.
 
His recent Monsters EP got picked up by BBC Radio 1’s Paul Woolford, tore the roof off of Berghain the week before release and is a favourite in the Rekordboxes of DJs like Laurent Garnier, James Zabiela, Pedro Winter, Electrosexual, Justin Robertson and a host of other top guys in the business. His current EP Red Shift (on Paisley Dark) is also getting getting love from DJs all over the disco spectrum.
 
Mark (as he’s known to his friends), has also released on Nein, Wonder Stories, Hypnotic Connection amongst others and has remixed for numerous artists such as Zakmina, Ali X (of Azari & III fame) and DDM boss Black Light Smoke, he has also picked up plaudits over the years from artists like Rex the Dog, DJ Sundae and has had his music described as ‘Dark but ultimately redemptive’ by the late great Andrew Weatherall, after getting a play on his  Music’s not for Everyone show on NTS. 

This mix bounces us through his ever evolving record collection, where weird pop curveballs brush up against grimy EBM, unshazamable techno melts into rave classics from yesterday, today and tomorrow.

Greetings! From Today onwards we will be having a new episode here each and every week and nothing would be special enough, compared to what we have for You today:

Grisha from @Odopt, who is known by many club anthems released on Born Free, Hivern, and Discos Capablanca, among other labels, gave us the honor to present his selection of some supremely wide, muscular, and groovy acid basses along with moody electro-acid-house tunes together with computer glitches and some darker house variations... It all creates an experience as if you were participating in a tense, never-ending car chase. On that note, have you ever watched the movie "BULLITT"?

"While driving his Ford Mustang, Bullitt becomes aware he is being followed by a Dodge Charger driven by the two hitmen." Even though, Dodge Charger crashed in this scene of the movie - it is the one that @Odopt chose and where this set would fit just perfectly when played, even during the original car chase. 1969 Dodge Charger R/T 440, had a 4-speed manual and 440 cu. In. (7.2 L) engine, which allowed to unleash insane power and speed at that time in the San Francisco hills, where the chase scene started.

Odopt in a 1969 Dodge Charger 440 Magnum

For eight years now, songwriter and producer Sebastian Lee Philipp has been steering his project https://soundcloud.com/diewildejagd through the field of tension between contemporary electronic music and avant-pop. Between 2015 and 2020, three studio albums were produced as documents of Philipp's rigorous musical creativity. Most recently, «Atem», a composition for Roadburn Festival, was released in 2022, documenting yet another, more experimental side of the project. On the new, eagerly awaited fourth album, all these multi-faceted worlds are brought together in an impressive way.
«Ophio, Ophio» you say. Lies in the end of you Still the best ahead of me?
With these lines from the title track, Sebastian Lee Philipp poses the question that spans over the entire album like a parenthesis. The work entitled «ophio» tells of constant transformation, the blurring of beginning, end, and the various dimensions in between.
«It's about the constant unfolding of the self, about the seductive forces of life, an ode to existence and the transformation to happiness.» Says Philipp himself about his conceptual direction of the album.
The meandering between leaving behind and starting anew is not only found in the lyrics, but also in the music itself. The production seems more consistent than ever before, stripping away all frills and trinkets, like a skin that has become too tight. The compositions form a concentrate in which every single sound finds its space. In a certain sense, it's like listening to an introspection in which the bundled voices become a single, demanding murmur that is both drone and whisper in equal measure. As on the previous album «Haut», the drums were played by long-time stage partner Ran Levari. The new album also features cellist and singer Lih Qun Wong («Lihla»), who first joined Die Wilde Jagd for the Live performance of «Atem».
This collaboration sounds particularly impressive on «The Hearth», the band's first English-language song. A beguiling track as if of shiny, heavy tar, carried by Philipp's dense composition, Levari's pulsating beats and lyricist Wong's voice. Other production partners were Philipp Otterbach («Kelch») and Vactrol Park («In Wonnenhieben»). Nina Siegler, who could already be heard as a duet partner in the song «Himmelfahrten», also lends her voice again to the tracks
«Ouroboros» and «In Wonnenhieben».
When the journey ends after just under 50 minutes with the questions «Will your songs blind me again? Be sparkling eyes
to me in the dark?» and dissonant choirs release you out into the distance, it's as if you're right back at the beginning again, only to set off once more. An album as strange as it is beautiful

These guys have had their head in the game for a while now, and have truly become pillars of the underground music scene. Dive into this mix of heady slow beats and voodoo sounds, then read their interview. We’re lucky to have ‘em!

Marie La Nuit #61 - Mixtape w/ Sophie du Palais

Roe Deers is a Lithuanian-based audio-visual project led by Liudas Lazauskas. Liudas first started DJ’ing at his parents’ club at the age of 12. He picked a folkloric name and that was the start of the Roe Deers project. His works were released on such labels as Duro, Calypso, Omnidisc, Suara, Beat is Murder, and so on. Liudas said to us that his first album is done and the release date is postponed to next year. There are some upcoming remixes for Radial Gaze, Order 89 and Artfcl, a second EP for Throne Of Blood, and some other things for the future.
