30 YEARS IN THE MAKING

Hi. This is Synthmaster broadcasting to all the lovers of everything nostalgic. My sounds are heavily influenced by the greatest music that was produced in the 70's, 80's, and 90's. From Giorgio Moroder to Depeche Mode to Daft Punk... 

It all started back in 1996 with nothing but a Casio LK-30 keyboard and a pile of Trance & Eurodance CDs. I started by learning to play all of my favorite music on the keyboard and trying to play along in real time. Pretty soon I got it down and was on my way. In 2004 I started experimenting with 5 track recording and took my first step into original production. By 2009, I began my digital journey using DAWs such as FL Studio and Ableton to transpose my production from hardware to software. Today, nearly 30 years later, I have truly found my passion in revisiting the sounds of yesteryear and bending the rules to produce a new multi-genre synth sound. 

My primary directive is to share the love I have of music with the world. The music I create follows no algorithm, formula, genre and or reason for it is fueled by pure, raw emotion. It's all about the feeling you get, not the label you give it. That is my philosophy. I pray that you will stay tuned and follow me and my musical journey. The support I receive is what helps me power through and is always appreciated. This is the first time in 30 years that I am publicly sharing anything and everything I have created and I hope that it makes you feel good!

His style is characterized by polymodality and using digital technique to enhance sonic means of expression. He is the founding member and leader of Aghiatrias, Skrol, Subpop Squeeze, Zygote, Luminar Ax and Tiria. He was also a member (keyboard player and vocalist) of the 80's experimental post-punk group Der Marabu.
