GRAMMY-nominated producer, songwriter and engineer Steven Weston debuts on Anjunadeep with ‘Like I Used To’ featuring vocals from British singer-songwriter Låpsley.

Having made a name for himself by working on Rudimental’s third album 'Toast to Our Differences’ alongside Charlie XCX, Ladyhawke and Mikki Ekko; Steven Weston debuted in the dance music scene in 2021 and has already released on Sasha’s celebrated label Last Night On Earth. 

With hundreds of millions of streams to her name, singer-songwriter, producer and musician Låpsley has been one of the most relevant acts in the indie-electronica scene in the last years. With both delicate productions like ‘Station - 2014’ and upbeat club numbers like  ‘Operator - DJ Koze’s Disco Edit’ to her name, Låpsley’s diverse offerings have garnered support from Pitchfork, The Guardian, NME, NPR and The Fader, to name a few. 

First heard on flagship label compilation Anjunadeep 13, new collaboration 'Like I Used To’ showcases Steven’s warm and elegant production and features Låpsley’s unique and soulful vocals.

'Like I Used To’ is the first single from Steven Weston’s forthcoming Alter The Flow EP.

The Anjunabeats Rising EP series returns for its 13th instalment, featuring new music from Laura van Dam, Luccio & Rune Noire, and Supernature.

Over the last two decades, Above & Beyond’s Anjunabeats label has launched the careers of some of the most respected names in electronic music: Andrew Bayer, ARTY, Audien, ilan Bluestone, Seven Lions and Mat Zo, to name just a few. In January 2021, the label launched Anjunabeats Rising: a new EP series highlighting the next generation of producers and championing emerging artists from around the world. 

Anjunabeats Rising introduced over 40 new acts to the label during 2021, including GVN, Alex Sonata & TheRio, Naz, Stephen Kirkwood, HRRTZ, Bexxie and more. After a brief hiatus, the series now returns.

Labelled by 1001tracklists.com as the 'future of dance', Amsterdam's Laura van Dam honed her production skills whilst working as an A&R for Doorn Records, graduating onto the label in 2019 with 'Skyfly'. 'Set Me Free' is the first of several tracks you'll be hearing from Laura on Anjunabeats this year - she also joins us at Group Therapy Weekender London this September.

A producer and DJ based in Miami, Luccio has supported some of trance's biggest names at shows across the Magic City. He teams up with Rune Noire on 'Try', first heard on Fatum's Anjunabeats Worldwide 10 compilation.

Rounding off the EP are UK duo Supernature, aka Kevin Thorpe and Zed Sinclair. 'Somewhere In Time' pays homage to a wide selection of Kevin and Zed's influences, including CamelPhat, Tangerine Dream, 80's sci-fi and filmmaker Christopher Nolan.

London-based artist Alexandrer Kotz - aka Elderbrook - kicks off 2017 with the release of his much anticipated new single First Time. The track will be released via Kobalt on the 27th January, and is part of a two-track EP due to be released in February.

Slowly building ambience, First Time drops into electrifying synths and sharp looping vocals layered with Elderbook’s luscious chorus. The combination of soulful vocals and synth melody creates a beautiful blend of pop-infused electronica. The single is produced by Kid-Echo who had huge success with Crank It, in collaboration with George Kwali. 

First Time follows the huge success of his single Closer last year, which was supported by BBCR1 DJs including Monki, as well as being officially remixed by the likes of Eats Everything and George Kwali. First Time is a strong start to what is set to be a big year for Elderbrook, as he prepares for his headline show at XOYO on 30th March.

After a whirlwind 2019, which saw Eric Luttrell release his acclaimed debut solo album ‘Into Clouds’ on Anjunadeep, the prolific San Francisco native makes a swift return to the UK imprint with his second LP ‘Lucky Ones’. Kicking off this spring, Eric embarks on his most extensive headline tour to date, with 23 North American shows revealed so far, which includes a performance at the iconic Coachella festival, with more to be announced.
 
First breaking into electronic music as part of the OWSLA-affiliated trio The M Machine, Eric launched his solo project in 2016 with the widely supported ‘Need You’ EP, while Anjunadeep catalog favorites ‘Generate’ EP and Annie Mac’s Hottest Record In The World ‘Intergalactic Plastic’ followed in quick succession. Now with his highly-praised debut album under his belt, which reached #2 on iTunes Dance Album charts in USA and Canada and #8 in the Official UK Dance Album Charts, Luttrell’s unique brand of quirky melodic house and techno has cemented his name as one of the scenes most hotly tipped talents; opening doors to working with Moby, Tycho, Jai Wolf, and Blossoms all of whom commissioned remixes from Eric.
 
Whereas ‘Into Clouds’ examined the transitional periods of life, and was reflective of Eric’s mindset at the time of recording, ‘Lucky Ones’ is a celebration. Anchored in themes of gratitude, the LP is a collection of 11 meticulously crafted cuts which see him draw from a deep pool of personal influences, including the likes of The Smashing Pumpkins, Nirvana and The Prodigy, his love for San Francisco and Burning Man, time spent as a student in Berlin, climbing Mount Kilimanjaro,  and even winning the US TV game show, The Price Is Right.
