Following on from his latest single ‘Just A Dream’ (feat. Delta Underground), San Francisco’s Luttrell a.k.a Eric Luttrell now shares the full five track EP package, ‘Music For My Memories Pt. 1’, the first of a trilogy of works to be shared throughout 2021. 

An Anjunadeep fan favourite, Luttrell has provided some of the label’s most memorable moments since launching his project back in 2016, including ‘Intergalactic Plastic', ‘Contact’ and ‘Need You’, which all won resounding support from BBC Radio 1’s Annie Mac, Danny Howard and Pete Tong. The past three years have seen Eric release two acclaimed LPs, his debut ‘Into Clouds’ and follow up ‘Lucky Ones’, along with a wave of well-received singles and remixes for the likes of Moby, Jai Wolf, Catching Flies and Above & Beyond; helping amass over 55 million streams throughout his career to date.

Opening with cinematic deep cut ‘Ex Nihilo’, Eric shares two more new originals in ‘Snoop Dawk’ and project title track ‘Music For My Memories’, with downtempo ‘Reflections Vol. 2’ highlight ‘October Song’ and recent single ‘Just A Dream’ completing the package.

San Francisco’s Luttrell shares his latest EP ‘Music For My Memories Pt. II’. The second in a trilogy of works to be shared throughout 2021, the forthcoming EP follows on from the success of lead single ‘Operation Midnight’, which saw support from Annie Mac on BBC Radio 1.

After a whirlwind 2019, which saw Eric Luttrell release his acclaimed debut solo album ‘Into Clouds’ on Anjunadeep, the prolific San Francisco native makes a swift return to the UK imprint with his second LP ‘Lucky Ones’. Kicking off this spring, Eric embarks on his most extensive headline tour to date, with 23 North American shows revealed so far, which includes a performance at the iconic Coachella festival, with more to be announced.
 
First breaking into electronic music as part of the OWSLA-affiliated trio The M Machine, Eric launched his solo project in 2016 with the widely supported ‘Need You’ EP, while Anjunadeep catalog favorites ‘Generate’ EP and Annie Mac’s Hottest Record In The World ‘Intergalactic Plastic’ followed in quick succession. Now with his highly-praised debut album under his belt, which reached #2 on iTunes Dance Album charts in USA and Canada and #8 in the Official UK Dance Album Charts, Luttrell’s unique brand of quirky melodic house and techno has cemented his name as one of the scenes most hotly tipped talents; opening doors to working with Moby, Tycho, Jai Wolf, and Blossoms all of whom commissioned remixes from Eric.
 
Whereas ‘Into Clouds’ examined the transitional periods of life, and was reflective of Eric’s mindset at the time of recording, ‘Lucky Ones’ is a celebration. Anchored in themes of gratitude, the LP is a collection of 11 meticulously crafted cuts which see him draw from a deep pool of personal influences, including the likes of The Smashing Pumpkins, Nirvana and The Prodigy, his love for San Francisco and Burning Man, time spent as a student in Berlin, climbing Mount Kilimanjaro,  and even winning the US TV game show, The Price Is Right.
