but I'm curious, and this life is too serious for me
and I don't know what to tell people when they ask me what it is I want to b 
so i guess that’s the real reason i’m even seeking out your help
i guess i’m a little lost tryna figure out what to do with myself
my friend told me about you and it sparked my thought
so I figured I'd send out this prayer and give it a shot, I figured why not?
so if you hear this and feel these lyrics make an appearance in my life 
because it's apparent I need perseverance for these fearful nights 
I can't b victorious in a game that I haven't entered 
and I'm sorry if this conversation seems a little too self-centered 
but I'm lost. and frankly I'd love some direction 
because right now I'm at the intersection of rejection and self-reflection 
reveal yourself, you told me that you have a plan 
for my life well here I am

take me as I come and please forgive me for my doubts 
I wrote this prayer on a piece of paper I hope that that counts 
I threw it out the window, I guess that's why they call it Faith 
I can feel you but sometimes I wonder will I ever see your face? 
but then I look around at all the things that you create 
and realize nature is more beautiful than anything man could make 
it doesn't even relate it will never b as great 
so I just gotta stop trippin' and just give my life to Faith.

it's funny how you teach us through these different types of lessons 
you know my thoughts before I think em 
my words before I speak em 
my moves before I make em 
my chances before I take em 
you know my heart there's no lying to you so why am I trying to? 
I’ve gotta stop doing what I want to do and do what you want me to do 
so thank you for helping me achieve this 
it’s been a long road getting here and frankly I needed this 
eternal peace and joy: damn I like that sound 
I used 2 B lost, but now I'm found.
