The Thatcher effect is about a cognitive dysfunction that affects the perception we have of certain objects, more specifically faces. A little brain game that offers us a reality different from ours. On this occasion, with “Thatcher Effect EP” I wanted to show that not everything we hear is perceived in the same way. There are infinite possibilities, endless ways of understanding music, whatever genre it is. After a very difficult year, away from my true passion, I present this new 4-track EP, which tells a story, a vision of my own reality. I really wanted to go back to the studio, and I hope you find this new musical adventure exciting, created directly from the heart to your senses. Some notes from NAACAL : "This track brought forward a new beginning for this project and it was written in 2021! After a "challenge" by the brother im lucky enough to consider a mentor,  Psyjar(GRUB) i started this track with a "less is more" approach and its the first song where 90 % of the sounds were live recorded on my hardware synths. This brought a lot of challenges and a new workflow that now i base my whole music around. I made a bunch of mistakes while recording the synths and Psyjar was instrumental to making this song sound the way it does now! Cant say thank you enough!"

7. Down At The Crossroad. 

After an interview on a dance radio station in Greece last summer, Jez and I were taken to lunch by the radio D.J and a few radio staff. After a while of chatting, the interviewer asked in a rather concerned tone whether what she had heard was true, about psychedelic trance in fact being a devil worship cult. I looked at her in the eye and replied with a look of po faced seriousness, that it was indeed true, and if she was ever to come to the U.K. that Jez and I could take her to one and we could all worship the devil together. At which point she physically jumped about 2 inches off the chair as if I had suddenly sprouted a pair of red horns and a tail. I took the next 5 minutes explaining to her that I was joking and that it wasn't true. Poor woman to this day I don't think she believed me. I must say I thought the d.j.s and producers on the trance music scene were beyond such judeo/christian superstitions, looks like I was wrong. After all, I suppose the devil does have all the best tunes  :)
