I had a chance to collab with recent DJ TIMES “America’s Best DJ” nominee and legendary turntable master DJ QBERT on this cosmic track.  While he was on another planetary time zone, Q and I were able to create a concept that allowed me to explore new rhyme patterns and topics.  

In a hail-mary, the planets were aligned and I received the track back on May 4, at 4am, the morning the masters were to be mailed for “The Fifth”.  I made a beat, had it all the way mixed, mastered and transferred.  With multiple mix-stems, and acapellas, a slapper was born.

Little did I know, Q flipped the whole thing on its head and pointed up when I looked to him for direction.
