Alpha Particle Assembly (aka Alexandru Dima) is a Romanian-born Amsterdammer with more than a decade of professional experience in electronic music production and performance. Alpha Particle Assembly is a result of how his musical identity evolved and shaped throughout the years. His current style can be described as drum-driven, hypnotic techno with a modern industrial feel.

In its 8 years since inception, his own imprint Consumed Music gained a respectable place in the scene, organizing local events, and consistently supplying dancefloor material to the world’s top stages. Among the label’s supporters are titans such as DJ Rush, Richie Hawtin, James Ruskin, Marco Bailey, The Advent, Ken Ishii, Electric Indigo, Dubfire, and many more.

As a producer, DJ, and founder of the Texas-based collective VOIDWARE (@voidwaretechno), Declan’s sets are notorious for their blistering speed and a no-holds-barred approach to track selection. His creations are always pushing audiences into an absolute frenzy at every turn.

Propelling him quickly toward key-figure status in the American underground, Declan James’ productions are known for their experimental, genre-bending qualities - all of which integrate a wide variety of influences that range from Electroclash to Dancehall. 

His pummeling techno sound has been noted by Resident Advisor as “futuristic and transfixing”, and its in this style of his that he has become consistently supported by DJs such as I Hate Models, Dax J, and Slam, among others.

With the recent launch of VOIDWARE, a record label and recurring party based in his hometown of Dallas, alongside both domestic and international touring schedules, Declan is proving to play an important role in the next generation of American Techno producers.

Miami based producer and DJ that began DJing at the age of 16 (2006). Backgrounded from Colombia. Style began as hard trance and fast paced dance. Shortly after finding a new love for the music a darker side was discovered, where he now ventures into a hard techno, industrial, hardcore, and an acid developed curated sound.

 In 2014 the legion of technoloft was born. Since then much support has flourished upon his music. His productions are currently signed to Apothic. Couple new releases are set to be out soon. Played locally in known clubs such as Club Space, Treehouse and many underground warehouses for various collectives.
