LUMERTZ is a Brazilian/ Italian DJ and producer currently based in Australia. His music style is built on top of classic Detroit and Berlin techno. With presentations couched by intense feelings, LUMERTZ guides the dance floor in a hypnotic trip full of looped and acid sounds. In this mix recorded during the recent lockdown in Australia and presented during a livestream for one of Sydney’s biggest parties, WeLove, he shows the result of his music research in addition to some of his upcoming releases.

6AM Guest Mix: LUMERTZ

2019 hat die gebürtige Hamburgerin Skadi angefangen ihrer Leidenschaft nachzugehen: Techno aufzulegen. In diesem Jahr gab sie bereits in Clubs, wie dem Waagenbau, Fundbureau und Uebel&Gefährlich ihren Sound zum Besten.

Skadi kombiniert gerne Melodien und dunkle Klangfarben. Ihre Sets sind treibend-druckvoll und bewegen sich um die 130 bpm. Abwechslung und Tanzbarkeit sind ihr ein Anliegen. Es soll auf dem Floor nicht langweilig werden und das ein oder andere Knallbonbon gezündet werden.

So lässt sich Skadi gerne von der Stimmung und dem Anlass leiten, um ein mitreißendes Set für die Menschen vor Ort zu kreieren. Dabei können ganz bewusst die Grenzen zwischen Melodic, Peak Time und Hard Techno verschwimmen.

Seit kurzem ist sie Teil von Technogami und veranstaltet gemeinsam mit der Crew Raves, in denen die freie Entfaltung des Einzelnen im Mittelpunkt steht. Außerdem arbeitet die Hamburgerin an eigenen Produktionen, in die sie ihre Kreativität einfließen lässt.

Excited to share with you my very first set of 2024, recorded live at Ratherlost party at LoFi, Amsterdam on January 1st, 2024. 
It was truly one of the best NY shows I've ever been a part of. The club was completely packed and on fire as I took over the decks following Quelza & Nørbak’s incredible B2B set. My aim was to keep this massive momentum going while leading the floor on a journey to get lost in the music. Hope you can feel this mood and energy from the recording.

The Brvtalist is pleased to premiere a new track from Yigitoglu & KVTS. "Sundowner" is the title track off the new EP forthcoming on L.A.'s Synthetik Sounds. For this release, the duo delivers three original tracks that range from punchy dance floor grooves (Sundowner) to striking hypnotic rhythms (Babylon's Fall) that leads us to Vision, the final track of this EP that will sure lock in dance floors with the nicely layered hypnotic grooves which has become the signature sound for the young Turkish DJ/producer, Yigitoglu, and his collaborator KVTS.
