TOLAX is co-founder & owner @fremdkollektiv Tunisian born, Based in Germany,
Slow like the rising tides, TOLAX rode waves of sound that have been increasing more and more in his life since his early teenage years. Across the deserts of Tunisia, to Germany his love for sound knows no bounds. His unique ear for sounds was carefully developed during the long hours spent at his job in a local music store. He is now known to explore a wide array of styles. By the end of the 2000’S after organizing some successful open air (& secret ) parties, he began experimental mixing with select electronic music tracks , he knew that music would always be his journey.
Building a strong foundation in his previous experiences led him to a solid career as a DJ & producer improving his technical skills with sound equipments ,After those years, he was still deeply involved in the alternative scene of Tunisia & Germany primarily as a DJ, but also a host, stage tech, sound, and light festivals and raves. During this time he was lucky enough to meet with some influential techno artists like Richie Hawtin, heavily influencing his perception of music. After all this, there was still always a question to be asked; How could he bring his love for sound to the next level ?

Inspired by DAX J , Remco Beekwilder, P.E.A.R.L , Perc, Oscar Mulero, Tensal... names of those he viewed as his forefathers, names he pushed on the dancefloor so many times during those long years, he took the steps and made something to call his own. Of course, this could not happen anywhere else than the never-ending vortex of inspiration in Germany.

While its latest shape was born in Amsterdam not too long ago, Phases is the result of a decade spent cultivating music culture, organising club nights and building friendships in Berlin’s underground club scene.

What started out as the ‘Phase’ event series in Berlin’s Grießmühle club, has grown, developed, expanded, and eventually reinvented itself as a music label based in Amsterdam.

Phases Records is the child born of Berlin’s and Amsterdam’s unique edge, energy and underground. The party’s unique sound is going to be reflected in the label’s first release, a carefully curated V.A. which pushes the boundaries of electronic dance music.

The Polish producer, DJ, promoter and more has released music on labels such as Mechatronica, K-Hole Trax, FASRAT and T&NE Records and he's also the booking manager of infamous Krakow club, Szpitalna1. His sound is inspired by uplifting, epic and romantic melodies while also infusing 80's classics, synthesizers and beyond. We're thrilled to host this great set today traversing his diverse sound.

New Brvtalism No. 359 - Kubok

Fractions is a collaborative project from Russian producers Nikki Korobeynik and Artem Frolov. Together they deliver hi-energy, genre-bending productions with elements of 90s rave, acid and as they say ‘unapologetic rawness’. A sound which no doubt is a derivative from their childhood surroundings in the sparse and remote regions of the Soviet Union.

They took it upon themselves to learn music production and were soon picked up by Fleisch Records from Berlin in 2018. The outcome of this collaboration was their ‘Control’ and ‘Scars Of Love’ EP’s. Touring started to pick up, but it was when they were asked to debut for Klubnacht at Berghain in 2019, which was only their 3rdgig of their career, things naturally took off for them. This was a show curated by The Vatican, playing alongside Phase, Fatale, Silent Servant and Barker.

2019 brought a new electro and breakbeat inspired release ‘Constellations’ on Rotterdam Electronix, and then an appearance with the opening track ‘Zero Ground’ on Dax J’s Monnom Black VA, sitting alongside some heavyweights including VTSS, Hadone and UVB.
