Alpha Particle Assembly (aka Alexandru Dima) is a Romanian-born Amsterdammer with more than a decade of professional experience in electronic music production and performance. Alpha Particle Assembly is a result of how his musical identity evolved and shaped throughout the years. His current style can be described as drum-driven, hypnotic techno with a modern industrial feel.

In its 8 years since inception, his own imprint Consumed Music gained a respectable place in the scene, organizing local events, and consistently supplying dancefloor material to the world’s top stages. Among the label’s supporters are titans such as DJ Rush, Richie Hawtin, James Ruskin, Marco Bailey, The Advent, Ken Ishii, Electric Indigo, Dubfire, and many more.

Hailing from Waterford, Cailín is known for her dedication to the art of djing and vinyl only style. A name applauded in Berlin and recognised as far as the Americas, the 2x Boiler Room selector has rightfully become one of Ireland most respected DJs. A long-time resident at District 8 and Subject, Cailín regularly appears alongside huge names such as Jeff Mills, Dave Clarke, Ben Sims, Ben Klock, Paula Temple, Dax J and I Hate Models, to name just a few. Earning sets at Tresor, Machine Parties stage at Dockyard Festival at ADE and Bossa Nova Civic Club NYC, as well as being a regular at Life Festival, Boxed Off, Circles and Electric Picnic, reflects Cailín's pure ability to work the turntables and act as an ode to what is to come. 

As a producer, Cailín's discography is steadily growing. Her debut 12", 'Phantom Love Affair', 4 tracks of raw, machine fuelled techno, caught the ear of Dave Clarke, who chose her as one of his favourite producers of 2021. Shortly after she contributed to Ben SIm's huge Symbolism VA as a handpicked artist alongside Lady Starlight, Insolate, Jaun Shanchez, Ritzi Lee and The Lady Machine. Since then, she has had a steady stream of releases in the form of remixes, VAs and a further EP with lots more on the schedule before the year is out.

@sebastianbayne is one of Australia’s premier techno exports whose led quite the extraordinary life. He learned his craft during his time in the UK and notably in China, where he played a role in pioneering in establishing the techno scene in Beijing. Bayne also heads up IF? Records, one of Australia’s longest running techno imprints. IF? started in Melbourne in 1995, with Sebastian inheriting control of the label in 2010. The label has featured homegrown talent, as well as a plethora of international artists.  Bas Mooy, James Ruskin and Dasha Rush amongst others have been released on IF?. Sebastian also released a 4-tracks digital Ep on Genau Recordings imprint. Currently, in Berlin, Sebastian can be caught playing at institutions such as Tresor or Staub, and debuted in Berghain in 2018.

Combining the sounds of techno, acid, breaks, and house music, São Paulo DJ, producer, curator, and label/agency boss Amanda Mussi works hard to bring something fresh and new to the dancefloor. 

Amanda is known as a strong presence in the queer underground music scene in São Paulo where she held her monthly party Dûsk for 5 years and now she is a resident at some of the best events in Brazil: Mamba Negra — where she debuted at her first Boiler Room, Dando, and Kode (Rio); she often appears as a guest at events like DGTL festival, Photon, and many others. 

Amanda has taken her sound on the road to many cities around the world and now she is based in Paraguay where she grew up and has a strong connection with the local scene and also has a new residency at Tango Club. She has been a very known presence in New York, at the infamous and best-regarded party Unter., Stockholm, Budapest, and Berlin where she constantly performs at Buttons, Pornceptual, and Berghain, being one of the first female Brazilian DJs to perform there on the main floor. 

Her music releases started in the past 4 years with her Paraguayan crew from LPZ records, Renato Cohen’s Massa Records, The Lady Machine’s Unterwegs, PG Tune, and the recently launched label Macro Hits in collaboration with her partner Ananda, where they’re having a monthly residency on The Lot Radio, besides she is also running her monthly show Aeróbika, on São Paulo’s Veneno Radio. 

In between shows and producing, Amanda runs the .alt bookings agency, a collective dedicated to promoting cultural exchanges in South America’s underground scene; this new platform allows her to collaborate with worldwide artists and brings together many scenes from her continent.

Global Vibe Radio 331 Feat. Amanda Mussi (Macro Hits)

Risa Taniguchi is arriving at the forefront of the dark techno wave that has washed over the underground in recent years. The Tokyo born - and based - artist has spent the last four years cultivating a lo-fi sound of distorted textures, fizzing synths and a quietly burning energy, which consumes all who hear it. 

Preferring to play sets which are "late night, for the weirdos", Risa has a knack for getting crowds in a nocturnal trance, before delivering shocks and surprises with a curious motif or unpredictable element. For those who like to cut loose in a dark environment, she is the perfect selector.

In the studio as well as the club, Risa focuses on the drums, programming kicks that bring visceral and often aggressive thrills next to a uniquely addictive layer of well designed snares and hi hats. Her signature has become her own subtle and intriguing vocal samples, best heard on Slipped My Mind and This Guy. She adds layers of acid bass and an always raw, edgy aesthetic. Having experienced them first hand whilst living in London, in 2010, Risa also has an enduring love of underground UK bass sounds, which can be heard in many of her tracks. The multi-talented act is also formally trained and a skilled player of the piano, who continues to play daily.

Since her first release back in 2018, Risa has attracted high profile interest from A-list players Amelie Lens, Dense & Pika, Pan Pot, Perc and Daniel Avery; has hit the Top 5 of the Beatport's Leftfield Techno Chart and played everywhere from De Marktkantine in Amsterdam to Watergate in Berlin, and of course all the most revered spaces all across Japan including Contact, Womb, and Vent.

Despite the pandemic, the recent years have proven to be a high watermark for Risa as she has delivered a continuous flow of new music, primarily on Pan Pot’s Second State and on Dense & Pika’s Kneaded Pains. With both of these mighty techno duos giving Risa their support and platforms, it has enabled her to start taking her first major footsteps into Europe, picking up her first headline bookings there.

In 2022, she teams up for the first time together with Black Asteroid, a former engineer for Prince, and the duo will deliver three gritty, hard-hitting techno tracks on Chris Liebing's CLR.

BRYAN BLACK aka BLACK ASTEROID started his music career as a sound designer and keyboard tech for PRINCE at PAISLEY PARK STUDIOS in his hometown of Minneapolis. While working for Prince, black proceeded to create his own music- some of the most innovative techno records released on labels such as MUTE and KOMPAKT. 
 
These records caught the ear of MARTIN GORE from DEPECHE MODE. Soon after, Black was on tour with Depeche Mode with his band MOTOR, and recording songs with Martin Gore at his home studio in Santa Barbara and Berlin. Together Black and Gore wrote a top 40 single “Man Made Machine”. 

In 2011 the debut BLACK ASTEROID single, “Engine 1” introduced Black Asteroid to the world, and introduced an industrial rock sound into techno that quickly took off, propelling Black to play at clubs such as Berghain, Fabric London and major festivals. The focus was in favor of song structures and vocals in a techno template.  

After a string of EPs, the debut album “Thrust” was released in 2017 with many cross over singles, featuring vocals from ZOLA JESUS, COLD CAVE and MICHELE LAMY. 

The fashion designer RICK OWENS picked up on what was happening, and used Black's music for his runway shows in Paris. The two quickly became friends and collaborators.  Currently Black Asteroid is prepping a new album and several EPs, in addition to working in the fashion world, having just released a collection of sunglasses with Valley Eyewear, and music for Raf Simons and Rick Owens.

When Marcela studied anthropology, she had no idea that her interest in human behaviour would one day serve her well as a DJ and, more recently, as a producer.

Her love for techno manifests in an intense connection with people on the dance floor, where she combines melodic tracks with deeper and more energetic baselines.

 She’s taking her music commitment to new levels with music production as an organic step towards creating her own sound as well as organizing the Salon event in London.

She is based in London now where she is heavily influenced by its gritty and fast kind of techno. 

This mix is a promo set for the second edition of Salon, which will tackle the concept of dystopian love, and nothing better than Copenhagen fast techno to reflect on such a topic.
