I've been a huge fan from Moreno's tracks and his label DORIAN for quite some time now and it's an absolute honor to be able to host him today.⁠

Dorian Gray (aka Moreno from Italy) takes his name from the infamous Oscar Wilde character who trades his soul for an eternal life of sinful debauchery. Meanwhile Dorian Grays’s original beauty is captured in an artist’s portrait where observers can see each of his sins gradually disfiguring his once beautiful form. ⁠

And indeed the heady world of underground club music can sometimes feel like this! The intensity of this dark concept is expertly weaved into the deep techno sound of Dorian Gray where Moreno keeps a strong focus on meticulous ambient loops moving into hypnotic techno rhythms. ⁠
Moreno’s early influences hark back to the dark electronic 80s new wave sound but there are also jazz influences which have helped him coin the descriptive term of “afro-futurist techno”.⁠

Production work aside, Moreno firmly states that his first love is DJing where he continues to push forward, proving his talent through winning competitions and taking on various booking across Europe.⁠

Deep sound and Techno are his new language that is the⁠ foundation for a musical expression rich in ambient and⁠ atmospheric elements that outline the storytelling. ⁠

Revelation of Sound is pleased to present Dj and label owner Linny Hex. Her hallmark as one of Swedens most requested techno djs is to flourish on the borderland of night club and underground parties. Her performances at some of the most recognized festivals and clubsall over Sweden (Into the Valley, Norberg Festival, Department festival, Under Bron, Kontakt and more) has helped crystalize her sound and made her one of the most influential techno figures in Sweden.
The versatility that characterizes Linny’s dj sets are also present in the curation of her record label Kvalia Records, focusing on a blend of psychadelic soundscapes and percussion heavy rhythms. With releases by DJ Nobu, Psyk, Anthony Linell and Blazej Malinowski Kvalia Records is already a noteworthy label by its 5th release, but is fast shaping up to be an essential outpost for those digging for introspective strains of techno.

Intentional, energetic, and grounded - these are the characteristics that have been shaping Nick Moody since he first stepped into the DJ booth at the age of 11. As the kid that he was, he played at Thunderdome Radio for an audience of 30,000 people worldwide. This was followed by performances at places like Thunderdome, Mysteryland, and Studio 80. Later on, Nick became a versatile contributor to the electronic music scene. He played a significant role in Amsterdam’s Warehouse Elementenstraat movement, followed by his involvement in Reaktor and Lofi where he is active to date.
Over the years, Nick developed a profound view on techno, resulting in his debuts at Boiler Room, Unpolished, and his beloved Warehouse Elementenstraat. Today, Nick hones his craft from his studio in Berlin, translating his vision into a tribal-induced, driving sound that evokes a holistic sensation of collective involvement on the dance floor. With a personality moulded by electronic music culture since his formative years, Nick is shaping the future while respecting the past - inviting dancers on an introspective journey towards our primal roots of unity, movement, and sound. Techno is a layered phenomenon. On the surface level is the talk, fleeting and temporary. Beneath it lies an intricate web woven by all manner of creatives and intellectuals. At the center of it all is the sound itself, and it is in this realm of sonic abstraction that you find Max Gardner.

The San Francisco DJ and producer did not initially pursue electronic music with ambitions to promote himself as a brand. Doors opened nonetheless, and they never stopped.

 He is now one of the artists most closely associated with Bay Area techno, releasing on labels like Occultists, Resource Records and Northern Parallels. He has also launched an imprint called Peer with the mission of platforming the music of promising up-and-comers on equal footing to that of established figureheads.

His often psychedelic, sometimes suspenseful, always hypnotic range of the techno spectrum has afforded him audiences in cities across the globe. He’s performed at clubs like MUTE in Medellin, Leland City Club and The Works in Detroit, Beta Nightclub in Denver, and Desterro in Lisbon. He is also a return guest at gatherings like DEPTH in Seattle and The Great Beyond outside Minneapolis.

 His first European tour in 2023 saw him visit RSO.BERLIN and Moog in Barcelona in addition to Club John Doe in Amsterdam and a gathering by phase.ctv in Madrid. 

Max Gardner lives for the ephemeral moments in which time stands still, where words fail, as pure and honest audio shakes every reveler to their core. To see him behind the decks is to understand that he belongs here. He knows this world intimately. His place in it is permanent.

New York City-based BRÄLLE is a creative project born out of both fear and necessity. Prior to emerging on the techno scene with 2017’s ‘Dream State’, BRÄLLE had already spent nearly a decade composing albums and relentlessly touring globally in the underground Death Metal and Hardcore scenes. After leaving that world, the insatiable urge to create visceral and emotive productions did not fade, and as a result, BRÄLLE was born. This history has given the producer a unique perspective on the current global scene, highly removed from the cliques and trends that dominate the culture. The sound of BRÄLLE is swarming, psychedelic, and undeniably modern.
