Performing at major festivals and nightclubs the world over, Simina Grigoriu has become a staple act for the likes of Deichbrand, BigCityBeats’ World Club Dome, Untold Festival, Love Parade, and more recently, Ushuaia, Ibiza, to name a few. It is therefore no surprise that the techno chief named her label ‘Kuukou’ (Japanese for airport).

Since its inception in 2016, the authoritative Kuukou Records has gone from strength to strength, with a steady stream of hard-hitting releases from the likes of Hito, Torsten Kanzler, Gallya, Fabio Florido, Dusty Kid, BB Deng, Hollen, Drumcomplex, Alfred Heinrichs, Martin Books, Daniel Boon, Filterheadz, and Lilly Palmer, amongst others. An invaluable platform for both up-and-comers and established talents alike, the imprint was spotlighted in 2021 with the emphatic release of "Techno Monkey Remixed"; a three-part album initiative which brought Simina’s acclaimed original back to international airwaves under the new perspective of her cherry-picked producers.

One of the most dedicated and hard-working characters in the industry, it comes as no surprise that Simina has another cardinal year in store for 2024. Aside from her return to We Are The Brave, the mother of two looks ahead to further releases with her staple home OFF Recordings, as well as a collaboration with Sneaker Pimps’ Kelli Ali and yet more electrifying performances from one of techno’s most dynamic ladies.

Joel Mull's career spans over three decades. With a background studying classical music, singing in choirs and playing in bands, Joel found electronic music at a young age as a source of freedom. His first experience came from DJing in the chill-out areas of rave parties in his native Stockholm during the early 90’s. 

With his roots from Hamburg, Germany, he moved to the city in 1994, and worked as a resident DJ for 3 years at one of the biggest techno clubs in Germany, Unit Club. This was an important period for him and as a DJ; It taught him how to control the energy of the night on the dance floor, from warm up sets to 10h marathon sets. 

With releases on music labels worldwide along with Cari Lekebusch, Robert Leiner, Adam Beyer and Jesper Dahlbäck he counts to the first wave of Swedish techno producers who became known around the world as the "Swedish techno sound". 

He has produced over 100 releases under various names such as Icarus, Gotzkowsky and most recently under his alias Damm. 

He often refers to himself and his craft as a sound architect, and if you’ve ever experienced his club sets, you’ll understand why.  Under his ambient and electronica alias Damm, Joel revives one of his earliest aliases and expands upon this discipline even further.

His 'Back Channel Communications' EP exemplifies his highly refined production technique developed from years of experience as a DJ, producer, and label owner. Amalgamation opens the record heavy, brooding, and sinister; continuing with Conspire., an rhythmic exercise in drive punctuated by sparse syncopated claps. Flip the record,. JX-216· delivers hefty angular grit in his remix; and closing out the EP, Jason takes us into space with Enveloped, featuring1 expansive atmospheric themes.

Andrew S.'s immersion in the electronic music scene began in 1999 when he started DJing. With a talent at blending the realms of technology and music, Andrew’s experiences in the early 2000s rave scene led him to form Dirty Epic, a collective that would revolutionize the Los Angeles underground scene.

Beyond the geographic confines of Los Angeles, Andrew's sets resonate in venues nationwide, from Denver to New York City. His reputation for seamless mixes and impeccable music selection has placed him on stages alongside techno giants such as Robert Hood, Pan-Pot, and Pleasurekraft. Each performance by Andrew is a testament to his skill in creating unforgettable experiences, solidifying his status as a distinguished artist in the electronic music sphere.

Andrew's contributions to music extend beyond just his live performances; his vision and influence have been instrumental in shaping the landscape of contemporary electronic music. As a vanguard of the Los Angeles underground scene and a celebrated artist nationwide, Andrew Takashi Souto continues to inspire and innovate, leaving a memorable mark on the scene. In other words, whether he’s behind the decks or behind the scenes, Andrew knows how to get a party started and keep it going.

Artist based in the South West of France, La Kajofol is producing music since 2019. In 2022 she founded her own label NŸX Records.

Self-taught music lover, she created her own universe especially by bringing a new essential aspect : her voice. The bewitching hypnotism emanating from her music brought a unique style of her own which she calls "Mystical Techno".

In her sets she brings the audience into her world by creating a story passing through dark, mystic and melancholic moments, with a very pumpin' and progressive energy.

Insolate stands as a defining figure in the Croatian techno circuit, achieving international acclaim over two decades as both a revered DJ and producer, and the driving force behind the esteemed Out Of Place label, as well as the electrifying HUSH! and TRAUM events.

With her roots in Osijek, she initiated her journey in 1997, progressing to captivate audiences across Europe and the globe. Honored as “Croatia’s ambassador overseas” in 2017 and 2018, and lauded as Croatia’s top DJ in 2022, Insolate also proudly represented her country at the DJ Awards in Ibiza, claiming the “Dance Nation of the Year” award.

Her global presence includes marquee performances at leading clubs and festivals like Berghain, Rex, Tresor, and Tomorrowland, extending to tours across Colombia, the USA, China, and Argentina. Her production prowess shines on tracks released through distinguished labels such as Mote Evolver and BPitch Rec, earning the support of techno titans like Laurent Garnier and Ben Klock.

Insolate’s DJ sets are celebrated for their unadulterated energy and technical finesse, reflecting her seasoned expertise, boundless inspiration, and profound understanding of techno, cementing her as an innate force within the DJ booth.

The mix was recorded in July at Tresor (Berlin) during the 20th anniversary of my booking agency, AD Sound. It was a great night sharing the booth with Lady Starlight, Sterac, Advent, Heiko Laux, Steven Parker, and others.

DJ Dextro’s ‘Motivo’ EP on CLR begins with the first part of the title track, in which dubby synths swish and roll between thudding kicks while sturdy claps keep the rhythm. ‘Motivo 1’ is a powerful techno tool, smooth with a deep and dreamy atmosphere and perfect for those late-night trips. ‘Motivo 2’, on the other hand, lends to the darker side of techno, its low-end bubbling among alien machines as its sequences ride and click along the drums, making for a potent and hypnotic club track.

Active since the early ‘90s, Portuguese artist DJ Dextro lands on CLR following a vast discography on labels like UNCAGE, Planet Rhythm and Portugal’s very own Naked Lunch Records. He’s also a prolific remixer, having reworked music from artists such as The Advent, Scuba, and Drumcomplex. With the ‘Motivo’ EP, DJ Dextro shows his decades of experience with two detailed techno compositions, which rightfully find their place on Chris Liebing’s celebrated CLR imprint.

Founded by influential techno lynchpin Chris Liebing in 1999 and reemerging in 2021 after a five-year hiatus, Create Learn Repeat (CLR) has hosted a range of artists like DEAS, Shlomi Aber, Drumcell, Truncate and more while also focussing on developing newer acts in the scene such as B. Riley, The Southern, and Klint.

Born in 1987 in the North of France, François has been immersed in electronic music since a very young age. His debut in mixing took place in 2001, and it was only natural that he turned to composition in 2005. The year 2019 marks his emergence under the pseudonym "Fhase 87"

After a few months and numerous releases on different labels, he acquired the support of many international DJs such as Laurent Garnier, Dave Clarke, Ben Sims, Sam Paganini, Perc or Cleric, to name a few.

in 2021, he launched 2 labels, "Lemegeton" (a series of 18 vinyls inspired by the eponymous grimoire dating from the 15th century) & "French Loops" a series of Raw Techno/Tribal tracks that have marked many artists and listeners across the world

Oscillating between Detroit Techno and Chicago Techno, his quality playlists and energetic mixing style enliven and make his audience dance
