Carlo Lio’s 'Omnism' on Nicole Moudaber’s MOOD kicks off with dusty, brushed metal beats that rumble away beneath an increasingly trippy vocal sound. It serves as a call to action for the dance floor as the tough but warm beats punch out their pattern and hi-hats up the intensity. There is a darker vibe to Lio’s 'Da Ruckus', which has hammering percussion as a distorted voice and prying synths build to an irresistible peak.
