Since its debut in 2016 on Labrynth and FLASH Recordings, counts many more on INSANE INDUSTRY RECORDINGS, Bipolar Disorder Records, Minimal Force Records, STRISCTRX,
Õtomo, Abstract Mechanisms, UKR Special Series, trau-ma, Switch Off, Illegal Alien Black Label, Mephyst, Konstructiv, True Type and its basic 
Metaphisical Recordings Label. 
Monolyth is a DJ resident of Neapolitan promoter group Techno_Mas and has played in many Italian clubs and especially
in his most successful city with artists like Future_666, Fjaak, Ben Klock, Paula Temple, I Hate Models, James Ruskin, SNTS, Ben Sims, Flug, Slam, Cleric, Nico Moreno, 
Luis Flores, Electrorites, Florian Meindl and many others. 
Being constantly experimenting with analog sequencers, synthesizers and sound design, its purpose is to 
convey its love for music to other people and will definitely do so without any compromise.
His music is increasingly appreciated and played in the best festivals and platforms, such as Boiler Room, by the most representative talents of the world techno scene, 
such as the legendary duo SLAM, Amelie Lens, Cleric, Rudosa, Paula Temple, SHDW & Obscure Shape, Blawan, Pär Grindvik, James Ruskin, The Advent, Unbalance, Samuli Kemppi, Amotik, Stephanie Sykes, Indira Paganotto, 
Florian Meindl and many many others.

Spanish-born and currently residing in Metro Detroit, Víctor has over 30 years of experience in the electronic scene. He has been a key figure in the development of electronic music in northern Spain, playing a fundamental role as a resident DJ and programmer at some of the most influential clubs in Galicia, such as La Capilla, Las Torres, and El Manco.

Throughout his extensive career, Víctor has explored various genres but has always found his identity in the most underground techno. His main influences come from Detroit techno, Birmingham industrial techno, and German minimal techno. However, his versatility has allowed him to venture into other styles like electro, drum & bass, minimal, progressive house, and tech house.

His talent has led him to perform on prestigious international stages and festivals in countries like Portugal, France, Germany, and Mexico, including renowned venues and events worldwide. In Spain, he has made his mark at various prominent venues and festivals across the country.

In 1995, he founded the record store Renegade Records, and as a business evolution, in 1997 he created Fresh Records and the events agency Fresh Booking, which remains active after more than 28 years under the name Fresh Beats. Together with Fran Rodríguez, he launched the record label Blue Know Recordings, Galicia’s first techno label dedicated exclusively to vinyl.

In 2022 and 2023, he co-produced the outdoor festival Brétema in Galicia. Despite residing in Metro Detroit, he continues to contribute to the development of the electronic scene in Galicia and is currently involved in the production of Ardora Fest in Vigo. He is also responsible for the Podcast series for Fresh Beats.

Compound X launch the first of two brand new labels, Distopic Utopia Records, with a powerful EP that features their own essential originals as well as remixes from Mike Buhl and DCXH4L. 

Distopic Utopia Records will serve as a platform for multidisciplinary artists, DAR aka BROHN aka Brohn Smith - a DJ, producer, remixer and designer who was a former partner in No19 music - and DULUM aka Dave Roberts - a DJ, producer and mixing engineer - who alchemise all manners of experimental techno. Their productions infuse an interpretation of heavy rock inspired techno with subsonic grooves and industrial cinematic scores. After years of playing major festivals and clubs globally and more recently forward-thinking spaces in Paris and Berlin including installation experiments and runway shows, they are celebrated for their infinitely evolving and infectious style. 

Opener 'Black Salve' is a tense and bleakly atmospheric cut with hypnotic drum programming that is deep, speedy and dubby, while all manner of haunting sounds peel off the groove. 'Kaleidoscopic Delusion' is then more streamlined - a dark and alluring techno cut that takes you in a shady tunnel and keeps you there. 

'Seventh Sanctum' is the lat original and a tune that layers up unsettling ambience, distant sounds of automation and heavenly apparitions into a spooky and atmospheric bit of innovative downtempo techno. Aussie techno titan Mike Buhl has long been driving his home scene forwards and here he remixes 'Black Salve' into a lurching monster, with huge hits and intensely pressurised bass that will blow up any club. Last of all, the mysterious DCXH4L remixes the same cut into perfectly stripped back but dynamic dark techno that rolls and rolls further down the rabbit hole.
