Markantonio’s AnalyticTrail welcomes for the first time Masino who brings a three trackers EP called “Hello Man” as fifth release of the black series of the imprint.

Born and raised DJ & Producer, Masino is a resident DJ at RST Event and played alongside artists like Loco Dice, Dan Ghenacia and Nastia. He owns a radio show called ‘THIRTY5 Sessions’ hosting artists such as Alex Mine and Cosmic Boys. Masino has also a variety of catalogs showcasing his techno style, he has released on the likes of Set About, MKT Rec, Phobiq and IAMT among other as his music gets supports from the likes of Joris Voorn.

Hello Man opens the EP with a rumbling bass, vocal shots and synth stabs to create a dancy mood. My House comes second and carries on the fast pace rhythm with pounding beats and melodic shots which build the tension. Key Night closes the EP with a more darker sound and aggressive drum sound.

AnalyticTrail “Black Series” is back with a very special release from the LerioCorrado who delivers three trackers EP under the name of “Point Out”.

Straight out from Napoli and one of the label most creative artist, Lerio Corrado is leading the techno scene with his creative and irreproachable style of music. A career of almost 15 years in the business defined by a rich catalog with his recent debut on Second State and Filth on Acid, plus many releases on labels such as Loose Records, Unrilis, Tronic and many more. But we cannot neglect the masterpieces he already released on AnalyticTrail from his first single on the label back in 2015, his first EP “Music Express” plus more music during the years, Lerio never stops delivering innovative music for his home imprint.

His music always catches the ears of the leading techno artists like the label boss Markantonio, Adam Beyer, Joseph Capriati, Richie Hawtin among others.

“Point Out” opens the EP with a rhythmic percussion and groovy bass, “Comete” comes second and keeps the same mood with heavier bass. “Tesla” closes the EP with versatile sound which expresses the artist’s taste and creativity.

Chasing Ghosts

The new release on Markantonio’s label AnalyticTrail is a three track techno EP and a collaboration between the label boss himself and Atroxx.
Markantonio is a leading figure in the Italian music scene and along with releases on his own labels, his back catalogue also includes the likes of Sleaze (UK), Drumcode, Harthouse and Brood Audio.
Based in Naples he started his DJ career at just 15 years old and quickly rose to fame in his local city that then became a spring board to a global stage. Following this DJ success, his early productions quickly became popular with taste makers like Paco Osuna, plus The Advent, and from there his fanbase continued to grow.
Now a veteran of the techno genre with nearly two decades of music behind him, this EP is a showcase example of why Markantonio has maintained his cutting edge status.
Working in collaboration with Markantonio is Canadian artist Atroxx, who himself is no stranger to techno with previous Unity Records, Phobiq and AnalyticTrail.
Track one “Octave Shift” uses break beat rhythms and twisted vocals to add eeriness to its intensity. With building snare rolls and industrial percussion, it has a floor shaking groove and powerful punch.
Sticking with the dancefloor focus, “Give Me” is second on the EP with a dark atmosphere lead by a thundering kick drum and claps that are full of impact. With haunting vocals adding to the tension, it’s the arpeggiating lead synth that provides the driving force.
Finishing the superb release is “The One” that has menacing synth stabs layered over heavy percussion. Stripped back and straight to the point, this chunky track takes no prisoners and is a great way to bring things to a close.
