This single was an effort to take existing songs for a failed collaboration and forge them into a tight little outsider Techno release. The result is two very manic tracks with touches of analog gloom, saturated drums, frenzied synth, and bass lines. 

The tracks were written at a time when the Covid-19 Pandemic was grinding the entire world to a halt. Both public and private organizations were failing the people, which led to a lot of social strife, some of which were already at a boil. Hex Wolves wanted to capture these feelings into these tracks, as a form of therapy and expression.

"After three years of starting our journey as a label, we take stock of what we have learned and where we want to be. Under The Stone is the result of an awareness of the spectacularised and speculative electronic music that prevails today. A conscious and proud stance against the consumerist concepts of macro festival and selfie that distort the idea of collective culture. The title refers to the double movement involved in lifting a stone. On the one hand, discovering the extraordinary ecosystem that is hidden, and on the other, the act of throwing the stone that kept it crushed".

"They Stole Electro is a journey of the senses in audiological terms. The track starts with a half beat mash of synth drums and Amen snares combined 
with a dark and mystical synth melody that rings true to authentic electro from the 70s and 80s.
The first drop hits heavy with synth drums and chords that bring a familiar modern electro glitchy pumped sound, underneath this is a smooth sub bass that will draw you down into the water.
The second drop tears a new bottom to the chasm. The bass dirtying up and a tirade or jungle drums filter and pitch across the middle of the sonic field.
The third drop combines the two styles, melting the synth beats with jungle drums in erratic sequences that trigger new emotions once again before filtering down and leading out on the big, beefy synth arrangement.
