After his 2021 EP, which featured Carlo Ruetz's most successful Beatport single to date 'Critical Mass', and his new release 'Proton', both released on Oliver Huntemann's label Senso Sounds, Carlo Ruetz returns to Kuukou for another bang.
The man is known for blazing and futuristic sounds that come whipping around the corner without warning. 'On A Stream' does just that: The title track starts with a trance baseline, building on noise-like samples plus melodic yet futuristic synths to create an inescapable wormhole. 'The Journey' is more subtle but instant in its introduction of elements, with ultra- fast percussions and an underlying organ, that adds drama to the classic techno track.

Whistleblower is a label run by Reset Robot with a focus on releasing his own music, and its new release is a solo EP by the main man himself.

Reset Robot has a diverse style ranging from the fist pumping techno he has released on the likes of Drumcode, We Are The Brave and Hotflush, but ranges right through to uplifting tracks on Last Night On Earth, Mobilee and Bedrock.

Clean cut and stylish, many know the precision engineering of Rest Robot’s high calibre productions, and his three tracks on this release covers the full range of Reset Robot’s style.

Following a run of solo releases already this year, Juliet Fox and Made in Paris come together to collaborate on a unique, melodic techno track "Glad I Met You." The pulsing bassline and growling underlining synth drive the late-night track, with its hypnotic arpeggiator and Juliet’s vocal used as a captivating melody. 

These two Australian born and raised producers represent the track title’s true meaning, and with shows and touring life on pause for the time being, it comes at a time to really reflect.
