Led by ethereal vocals, broken beats and raw distortion, Linn Elisabet’s transgressive interpretation of techno imagines a future where double-binding societal norms have been dissolved. Driven by notions of freedom and self-shaped reality, their narratives strive to hold your hand while observing the storm of life from its eye, facing a world more vast than we dared to imagine. With a classically trained past in string orchestras and church choirs, it is given where their soundscape as well as their fascination for existentialism was born.

Having released with acclaimed labels like Planet Rhythm and A R T S, Linn launched their own imprint Acts Of Rebellion in 2020. The label expands on Elisabet’s mission: releasing alternative dance music challenging the border of genre conventions and traditional functionality, as well as the destructive policies that hold underground dance back from its original cause.

Sorza sent me his stuff a few years back and I was blown away by the craftmanship and character his music holds. His tracks quickly became mainstays in both Bastard and my own sets. MORSURE brings us his version of the groove in his EP "Unknown Matter".

As a French living on the German border, he immersed himself in electronic music at a very young age with the help of his parents: Massive Attack, Moby or the Chemical Brothers have been the seeds of Techno envy.

Sustaining a groovy and evolving techno, while maintaining the punchiest atmosphere possible, it is MORSURE's leitmotiv. A robotic, mechanical sound for an incisive performance.

The EP starts with an eponymous track. Arnaud confides that it is the coldest he has ever created: a tight anxiety, an evolution of the tension to be played right in the peak time.

MORSURE still remembers his visit to the Griessmuehle: the sweaty dancers surrounding him, swinging their bodies endlessly. "Step Back" track is the grooviest, transcribing this view.

"Unknown Matter" EP ends with "RedShift": percussive hypnosis, to hammer in the middle of an uncompromising set. A track not to be missed, if you've got any breath left in you so far.

he.IV Came across our radar in early 2019 when a demo fell on our lap.

It was the dark black honest sounds of Techno as we hadn't heard it before. it was hel.IV. After his debut EP 'The Dagger & The Thought'. It took over the internet & blew up. It had immediate respect & has been getting hammered all around the globe. We finally have him back to some damage again. His new 'The Palm On The Altar' EP displays a more fine tuned hel.IV while still attacking the throats. It's dark. It's imposing, and it's serious business. We also have the talented Dahlia on board to remix the title track. An amazing eight minute journey to tell his version.
