First vinyl slice of the year and a brand new act onboard: El Joven Prisionero. We have been told that this project is made by two well known experts: Oscar Mulero and Another Machines. About the music, three cuts on vinyl and four on digital, all named in spanish to add more confusion for the non speakers. El Jóven Prisionero opens the EP in a gymnastic mode, solid kicks, an energized raw sequence setting things up and a mutant structure. A proper bullet for the post restricted dancefloors when ready. Agítate incides directly on the most sensible parts of your mind and sound receivers, hysterical synth lines running over a shuffled beat and random resonant bleeps. Another physical exercise of abstract dancefloor weaponry. Extraño Mundo follows, an elastic beat runs alone on the first bars, soon joined by martian and asymmetrical sequences growing from below. Additional percussive layers complete the equation, that as always is wisely administered on an intelligent arrangement. Exclusively on digital, De Piedra y Barro closes the release in the same fashion as his vinyl cousins, phrenetic groove activity, synthetic and heavily processed sequences and a relentless rhythm.

MSDMNR is the eponymous Berlin-based label from artist Miro Pajic that has featured many of his own works as well as remixes by Adriana Lopez, PTTRN and Krenzlin.

The newest release sees the label head step forward with four original tracks following appearances on labels such as Ricardo Garduno's Illegal Alien, Kaiser's K S R, and Portugal's HAYES collective ran by Temudo, Nørbak and VIL.

Expect to hear raw, tough, analogue workouts with gritty souls and modular elements...

OECUS Premiere | Agonie - Hades Temple [KR030]

Born in the last year of the 20th century in the south of France, her Asian and Middle Eastern roots brought her a special and rich vision of culture, society and art.
Attracted to music from a young age, learning about music theory from the early age of 5 at the conservatory, it was in her teenage years that Tauceti decided to move to Toulouse to pursue her studies at the Music High School, where she specialized in percussion.
Being deeply interested in the human conceptualization of art, she moved to Grenoble to study Philosophy. It was there where she had her first performances as a DJ.
It was a bit later when she moved to Lyon, where is based and where she develops her music and DJ skills, exporting her work to the rest of the world.
The combination of her musical and philosophical knowledges is what makes her special. Through her work, she explored the concepts of philosophers such as Nietzsche and his assertion that art is the supreme force of human creativity, being where a man exercises his power.
Timelessness, depth, intensity, polyrhythms, layers and textures are some of the words that define the music of Tauceti who, staying away from trends and rules, creates her own musical identity both in the music she composes and as a DJ.
