A Day in the Life is the first chapter of a dedicated series fully curated by Steve Bicknell for KR3 Records. This bold new work by the veteran English artist provides an insight into the mind of the artist. 

Side A features three tracks by The Evader, another side of Steve Bicknell. An obscure intro leads us straight to the point: 4/4 sounds, repetitive and hypnotic, not afraid to be heavy. In fact, that's the point: to take everything that is a burden to us and embrace it. After all, there can be no light without darkness.

On Side B, Steve Bicknell has a killer approach. A parallel rail to Side A, with a more furious, still gloomy approach. He moves in the same direction but vents different emotions. The sound is harder, rawer, faster and more impetuous.

An outro ends the EP, as if to represent a circle closing: The first lap inside A Day in the Life.

Fresh off his album release on Jeff Mills’ Axis Records, Ocktawian brings three thumping tracks on this latest EP Unpatterns.  “Error Systems” starts off with a slamming assault of 909’s before delving into a tripped out sci-fi sound that almost overwhelms the senses. 

Sinxergy is a brand new Berlin based label that is focused on vinyl. The label aims at collaborating with artists and offer them a platform to express their creative freedom.

Portuguese techno maker @lewisfautzi is here again with his very own recipe about how the music of the future should sound like for his new Intense Mechanism EP. Listen to the premiere of the titular track from the new EP now.

"Intense Mechanism" is the first song on the B-side of the album, which instantly puts listeners in a galactic mood with one bar arpeggiated sounds, modulated wisely running over a blurred and distorted drum line.

His style has evolved to harsher territories lately, with distortion appearing as one of the main components in this compilation, shining through in the other three tracks as well. The Intense Mechanism EP will be available in both digital and vinyl formats.

French born, Berlin based Angioma makes his debut on @French born, Berlin based Angioma makes his debut on AFR with the Divergence EP. Heading up his own Room Trax label the young producer has slowing been making his way through the ranks with his tough yet refined and hypnotic sound. This well crafted EP is also backed with a stunning remix from the incredibly talented, Nørbak.

Title track, Divergence opens with warping baselines, tripped out synths and jacked up percussion. Slow Motion heads down a deeper more contemplative path but still packs attitude. Break Your Chains continues with the hypnotic theme but focuses firmly on power and drive. Closing out the EP, Techno’s latest rising star, Nørbak, deliver a creatively unique, broken-beat and atmospheric interpretation of title track Divergence.  with the Divergence EP.
