Mark Reeve is a familiar name to anyone truly serious about techno. With a career spanning nearly two decades and championed by techno heavyweights like Adam Beyer and Sven Väth, Mark’s groundbreaking productions can be found on Drumcode, Cocoon, Bedrock. Truesoul, Terminal M, Soma, Second State, ELEVATE, Intec, Bek Audio .. and of course his own label, SubVision.

Mark is an artist that wears his heart on his sleeve. You can feel rawness and emotion in his music, attributes fully harnessed in his new LP. ‘Raw Mind’ is forged in a spirit of the techno underground taking back some control. ‘Raw Mind’ sates an appetite for techno purists searching out vibrant techno with its roots in dark cavernous clubs with pummelling sound systems and bass that hits you hard in the chest, shaking the foundations you stand on.

Released on his mighty SubVision, ‘Raw Mind’ captures where Mark is a producer, artist, DJ and label owner. As always, Mark’s projects are delivered with passion and integrity. The result of many hours in the studio getting the right sounds, making little sonic adjustments to ensure the final results deliver where it matters the most - pumped out of the speakers and onto the dance- floor to give the crowd something truly special to get lost in.

Title track ’Raw Mind’ continues the onslaught and encapsulates what Mark is all about. Driving pounding kinetic uncompromising techno. The classy breakdown shows a true understanding of how to work a dark room. The beats are removed so the melody can get inside your mind, ensuring a sense of elation when they kick back in. Techno from the heart filled with genuine passion.

In summary, ‘Raw Mind’ captures a techno artist at the top of their game. Someone that is passionate and protective of the underground scene and a spirit dating all the way back to those early days in Germany, Detroit and clusters across Europe. Following a remix appearance of Chris Liebing on Nicole Moudaber’s MOOD imprint last year, the pair now team up on Liebing’s celebrated CLR imprint for ‘I Will Be A Devil Until I Am An Angel’ this November.

First up, ‘Watch Me Choose You’ launches with a clap-heavy groove shot through with bleeps and squelches, a subtle serpentine acid-line woven among its sturdy drums. It’s a high-intensity, peak-time offering followed by ‘When You Are Near’, another dancefloor bomb which continues with additional bursts of acid sprayed on top of its cavernous kick drums before dropping into a mind-melting frenzy at the halfway mark.

Tokyo-born and based Risa Taniguchi lays down her latest quartet of compositions for TREGAMBE titled ‘Our Deepest Fear’, typifying her visceral, dark techno energy, condensed into a cutting-edge, contemporary package. 

Risa first came onto Juliet’s radar last year following on from her amazing Kneaded Pains EP. Juliet and Risa then met in Tokyo last December when Juliet dropped in for a gig and over Tokyo’s finest sushi, their friendship blossomed with the pair playing later that evening together. As soon as Risa sent some tracks over, they connected to Juliet immediately as they tell a story, one which we can’t wait to share! Welcome to the TREG fam, Risa.

Say What? 191 is the last release of another exciting year for the label and we wanted to close with a huge bang! Therefore we are happy to welcome Swedish techno producer MarAxe with a stellar EP called 'Pyramid'.

The title track starts off with MarAxe’s typical rolling, raw and unforgiving energy. Chords emerge from the deep and build up in perfect sync - a true testament to the power of raw techno in its purest form, a reminder of the genre’s origins and glimpse into the future.

'Subatomic' is next up on the release and doesn’t let the power fade away, weaving a narrative of dystopian futurism with driving rhtyhms, intricate synth patterns and undulating basslines just the way we like it.

'Larma' follows with an unrelenting onslaught of pounding kicks and hypnotic sequences mixed with an abrasive fusion of metallic clanks and surgings synths, pushing the boundaries of sonic intensity.

'Jura' is the last track of the EP and a declaration of techno’s unrelenting spirit and a praise to the power of raw and unfiltered sound with its hypnotic groove and rolling explosive energy.
