Swedish duo Manic Brothers are excited to announce their return to Consumed Music with their latest EP, "Some Count Some Doesn't." The release showcases the duo's signature groovy and efficient sound, with tracks that are sure to get audiences moving on the dancefloor.

The EP features six original tracks, each with its own unique character and energy. From the pulsing beats of "Bolibompa" to the driving basslines of "Farthinder", Manic Brothers have once again proven their ability to craft tracks that are both danceable and thought-provoking. To add an extra layer of excitement, the EP also includes a remix of the title track by fellow Swedish artist Franz Jäger, taking the original to new heights with his own unique interpretation.

On the thirteenth solo release on his self-titled imprint, Berlin-based DJ/producer Amotik delivers another three tracks of the rolling, driving techno he’s been pushing for eight years. Leading the release, ‘Sattar’ brings pulsating bleeps and shimmering synths over a dark, pounding bass, while ‘Bahatar’ brings in punchy drums and soothing melodies, utilising lighter soundscapes and rumbling low-ends to guide us through this hypnotic workout. Closing out the release, ‘Tihatar’ combines shadowy stabs and dramatic synth lines that gradually build throughout the track for a tunnelling, late-night trip.

Releasing solo for years on his self-titled imprint, Amotik launched AMTK+ earlier this year to feature other artists via split EPs, releasing music by Deluka, Arthur Robert, Decka, and himself across the first two releases. With recent gigs at the likes of De School, E1, Tresor, and opening and closing sets at Berghain, Amotik has firmly cemented himself as a versatile and key player in modern Techno.

Amotik’s ‘Amotik 013’ drops on Vinyl on 30th June, followed by a digital release on 21st July 2023.

Sanna Mun is an interdisciplinary artist based in Berlin. Her multifaceted sound ranges from ambient to raw and classic techno, with a sense for organically evolving motifs that drive her DJ and live sets. Sanna’s approach to music is influenced by her background in archaeology and esotericism, which she incorporates into her productions and the concept behind her label, Katabasis. Her debut releases on Ø [Phase]’s Modwerks label and Clone’s Repetitive Rhythm Research imprint have already garnered international support and acclaim.

Shlomi Aber returns to Chris Liebing’s legendary CLR with ‘Remote 101 EP’ this August.

Be As One boss Shlomi Aber has been DJing and producing since 1994, bringing his unique style of Techno to esteemed imprints such as Cocoon, Ovum, Nonplus, Figure, and of course, CLR. Returning to Chris Liebing’s imprint, Aber follows his 2022 EP, which spent 9 months in the Top Ten Beatport’s Techno (Raw / Deep / Hypnotic) section, with another four killer techno tracks.

Leading the release, ‘Righ’ combines raw, buzzing basslines with crunching percussion that evolve alongside twisted vocals throughout, kicking off the release with real menace. ‘Time and Space’ heads for trippier territories, deploying spaced-out voices buried under rattling atmospherics and pounding drums. ‘Chasing’ follows, bringing a propulsive and energetic vibe before the title track ‘Remote 101’ closes out proceedings with sizzling drum hits and intense synthesis - a killer dancefloor offering from CLR and Shlomi Aber alike.

Aimed at showcasing exciting and emerging artists "Exhibit" aims to channel techno's fundamental frequencies as Slam seek out the rawer end of the spectrum with selected artists that focus on the deeper and hypnotic sound of techno.

Packing in 8 tracks across this first release, Slam open with title track ‘Exhibit 1’ a deep, sub heavy and electrifying roller. Newcomers Mist Gasp are up next with the suitably trippy Final Return followed by the pairing of Confluence & Von Tee Rah who pack in a lot of attitude with Unit 1. Brazilian producer Marcal steps up with the groove laden Tombstone, quickly followed by Berlin’s Denise Rabe who treads a darker path with the driving, Walking On Borders. Another Berlin based pairing, Angioma & BLANKA, serve up the crafty Tricky Sunday before James Bong drops the fast paced yet minimalistic and melodic Roses 101. Closing out the release is Glasgow based producer Tremor who has been making waves in his home city with his on point, minimal sound and his track, A Moment, sums ups his style perfectly.

"Interlinked's second single will be released on the 17th of June under his own label. The record tries to capture the best elements of both house and trance, fused together into a bouncy hard house track. Interlinked is a Dutch producer from the student city of Groningen. His influences vary from 5 a.m. lo-fi house to 90's hard house and trance.

Interlinked's aim is to create emotional dance tunes which hopefully hit his audience right in the feelings. Interlinked tries to sculpt his sound to a certain degree with the intention to create nostalgic and ethereal soundscapes. His latest track combines classic trance and groovy rhythms, which eventually evolve into a dancey hard house tune. The track tries to picture a nightdrive at 5 a.m., daydreaming about past memories. Throughout the track the vehicle accelerates, the driver being uplifted into a state of nostalgia and euphoria. "The night" is perfectly suitable for clubs, but also for laid back summer evenings.
