Techno artist Björn Torwellen returns with new album ‘10 000 Black Seeds’ on Nachtstrom Schallplatten.
The eight-track record finds him exploring the creative fields of man-machine interaction. This work marks a welcome return for Torwellen after four years away. Before that, he established himself with a dark, dense and introspective sound and headlined major events around the world, from Nature One and Mayday to venues in Buenos Aires, Berlin and everywhere in between. He also ran his own events and founded the e-learning platform SINEE while evolving his meticulous style.

Inspired by his enduring work with modular synths, the new album was made on a refined modular system, processed into a signature sample pack and arranged in Ableton. The tracks were then mixed in analogue to create an organic, coherent sound aesthetic, meaning that '10 000 Black Seeds' is more than club-ready music; it is a document of Torwellen's own artistic development. The title cut ‘10 000 Black Seeds’ opens up with drums so heavy they will rattle walls. Glitchy claps peel off
the groove, and the atmosphere is brilliantly dark and moody. 'World(t)error' is just as big and powerful with rolling percussion and gritty warehouse vibes, until 'March Of The Transients' picks up the pace with quicker, banging drums and fizzing synths adding to the texture. There is eerie suspense in 'Alone In The Womb' with its elastic bassline and tense synth pulses, 'Under The Cloak Of Anger' has frosty static electricity running
through the middle of the high impact drums and 'All Those Who Wander' has more thumping kicks and mind-melting synth details racing along before 'Children Of The Twilight' and 'The Ghost Orchard Mythos' close out this stripped back but powerful techno album with two more fearsome cuts. ‘10 000 Black Seeds’ is a fantastic sonic homecoming that reflects every facet of Torwellen’s signature sound. ‘March Of The Transients’ and ‘Under The Cloak Of Anger’ are out on 16th February and 15th
March, respectively, with the whole LP dropping on 26th April 2024.

Say What? is back with a release from young Italian producer Jacopo Susini, previously released on labels like On Edge Society and Complexed Records, who delivers us now 4 insane groovers that are made to burn the floor!

We start with 'Non-Stop' - a four-to-the-floor banger that invites you to a journey through the depths of pulsating beats, hypnotic rhythms and atmospheric vibes. A testament to Susini’s unparalleled creativity and his ability to create the perfect dancefloor gems to serve as a secret weapon in your music arsenal!

Next up is 'Dissident' that pulsates raw energy and creativity with the frenetic rhythms and old-school synth work, creating a sense of euphoria impossible to resist. As the layers of sound build and evolve, the track takes you on a ride of intensity, culminating in a cathartic release of pure techno energy.

Third track on the release is 'Something', which melodies intertwine with driving rhythms and a vocal that teleports you to a realm where anything is possible serving as a perfect addition to this mesmerising EP.

To finish the release off we have 'Different Way' the track that blurs the lines between the physical and the metaphysical, as rolling drums collide with the melodies creating a landscape that defies the conventional boundaries. With its hypnotic groove and textures the track is really a must for those crazy late nights.

If you are a fan of techno and have paid attention to the most relevant producers lately, you will surely have come across the name of the maker of this EP. Roll Dann is one of the fittest creators on the Spanish scene and this is demonstrated by his work for labels such as Soma Quality Recordings or Mord among others.

His specialty is the most combative and direct techno, but with a solid foundation in the best tradition of this sound, the roots that come from the best British techno of the nineties, combined with a current and powerful sound design. This in-depth knowledge of the fundamentals of the genre leads him to easily master everything necessary to move an intelligent dance floor and throughout the six cuts that make up this work he demonstrates it with solvency and professionalism.

"Interrupted" slides towards more liquid terrain without abandoning the danceable impulse, but soon things get more aggressive with the emergence of successive layers and sequences.

Jeton is celebrating a milestone: 15 years and 200 releases. The label, founded by Ferhat Albayrak in 2009 and based in Istanbul, reflects the meeting culture of East and West in Istanbul for centuries. For years, it has been a base for upcoming new breeds, as well as a respected regular place for artists. From the dawn of time, it has been only Techno, with at least one release per month for 15 years in a row. Now, Jeton has become a place that few imprints can reach, with a monument of sustainability for years.

JET200 is an 8-track celebration from our best artists, colleagues, and friends, reflecting our approach to the future. Jeton has also become the biggest Techno promoter in its region, by serving the best possible music and atmosphere available globally. The 15-year celebrations will be started in Istanbul end of summer with great events.

We would like to thank all our fans, artists, collaborators, co-partners, and contributors for being with us for all 15 years. Without you, this journey could not have happened.
