Veteran Uncertain aka Boriqua Tribez has been making his mark on the electronic music scene since the early 90’s, with productions on labels such as Kevin Saunderson’s KMS, UMEK’s Recycled Loops and Ben Sims’ Ingoma, to name but a few. His recent alias, Uncertain, sees the prolific artist lean into his dark techno side, having previously released on Complexed, Tronic or Kneaded Pains.

'Expose' is a full-force showcase of Uncertain’s tenacity and knack for driving techno, encompassing ten tracks that progress along different paths of the genre’s spectrum.

From the opener 'Submerge', a heavy-hitting, straightforward peak time burner, we journey through heavy dub-infused compositions such as 'Juice' and 'Grind', whose syncopations are attention- grabbing from the first bars. On 'Reaction' we hear a tribal influence, while 'Seduce' leads us into a deeper realm with its otherworldly vocals and tectonic bass. One of the main stand out tracks on the album, 'Impact' stays true to its name, channeling tight-knit grooves at a dynamic pace as it lures the listener into a hypnotic dance frenzy. Another couple of high octane arrangements, 'Outrage' and 'Curve' syphon menacing pads alongside thundering drums leading to dramatic, narrative-changing cuts. The release is rounded off by 'Riot', a slice of electro-rave, offering a nod to the artist’s many years of experience behind the decks.

Markantonio returns to his label AnalyticTrail with a two-track techno release infused with dark atmosphere and swelling intensity.
One of Italy’s most iconic artists, Markantonio inspired a generation when he helped put the Naples techno scene on the map over two decades ago. In addition to playing DJ sets at clubs and festivals all over the world, he has also released music on many of the most influential record labels.
Recently he has featured on imprints such as Paco Osuna’s Mindshake, Spartaque's Codex and Ramon Tapia's Say What?, but he also has many classic tracks on labels ranging from Adam Beyer's Drumcode to UMEK's 1605.
This time he is back on his own label AnalyticTrail, which has been a regular outlet for Markantonio along with releasing music from other artists including Joseph Capriati, Wehbba and Luigi Madonna.
“Shout” opens the release with its rolling bassline and suspense building pads, while the pounding kick drum and rattling hi-hats provide a driving energy. Second on the EP comes the trippy melody of “The Light", which has a subtle euphoria underpinned by hard-hitting percussion.

With the ambient-ish „Home' Carl shows that he can't just produce great dancefloor music but also create spacy atmospheres...

... but with „Dance' he quickly returns to his core genre. A fast minimalistic beat, combined with a driving arpeggio, atmospheric strings & pads, and the name-giving vocal make for a really catchy track.

„Eyes closed' is a perfect complement to „Dance', using a similar vocal and groove combined with rave-stabs, creating a more trippy vibe.
