Hypnogaja is a critically acclaimed alternative rock band known for its cinematic storytelling, dynamic sonic peaks, and genre-bending fusion of rock and electronic music. After more than a decade, the band has reunited for a highly anticipated forthcoming new album to be released in 2025 via the Stockholm-based label Snafu Records. The LP’s lead tracks oGer an intriguing glimpse into the band’s current artistic vision. The first single, “Dead of Winter,” highlights lead singer ShyBoy’s soaring vocals and guitarist Jeeve’s electrifying performance in a powerful return to their signature sound. The second single, “Escalate,” is a dynamic track that weaves moody verses into explosive choruses, building to a climax erupting with the band’s unmistakable energy. 

Described as "enthralling, first-rate modern rock” (Outburn) and a group whose music “pushes boundaries” (Denver Post), Hypnogaja has written and performed songs that have been featured in numerous television shows, video games, movie trailers, and theatrical films, amassing millions of streams in the process. The band’s cinematic approach to songwriting has drawn comparisons to Nine Inch Nails, Depeche Mode, and Muse, blending haunting melodies with heavy rock textures and electronic atmospheres. 

Beyond Hypnogaja, the members have garnered impressive individual achievements. ShyBoy is a vocalist/songwriter/producer who has collaborated with numerous artists, including mixes for Donna Summer, RuPaul, and The B-52’s. He and keyboardist Mark Nubar are the composers of the score for the Emmy-nominated AMC/Shudder documentary series Queer For Fear: The History of Queer Horror. Jeeve is a Grammy-winning producer/musician who’s worked with Bruno Mars, Britney Spears, Giorgio Moroder, Pitbull, Carlos Santana, Tupac Shakur, and many others.
