KayCee Shakur first stepped on the music scene Valentine’s Day of 2018 with her first single, ‘Slide’, that spring, she followed up with her debut EP, ‘Divination’ — home of fan’s favorite, Yemoja. Since, Shakur has managed to grab and keep the ear of listeners near and far with her slick and bold lyrics dipped in a sweet and soothing delivery. 2019 birthed Shakur’s second project, ‘It’s Time’, where there’s a light shed on who Shakur is at the core — A Chicago girl. 

After winning an Audiomack and A3C “This is My Year” slot during the 2019 A3C festival and being coined an artist who can stand their own during the 2020 NPR Tiny Desk contest season, Shakur is ready to do just that with her newest release, Nu MOON.

As a Chicago City Year of Music grant recipient and three-time Chicago Made Competition finalist, they’ve captivated audiences from Navy Pier’s Beer Garden to the legendary Taste of Chicago, SpringBoard Music Fest, and the International Festival of Life. Their reach extends beyond city limits, having performed internationally at North by Northeast (NXNE) in Toronto. ATS also made waves in the sports world, landing a coveted sync deal with the NBA’s Chicago Bulls for the 2019-2020 season.
