Nona describes himself as a  music lover since the decade of  his time.
His influenences in the early ages we're metal, indie, synth-pop, psy-rock or rap. 
Since he'd lost himself in the story-telling experience of  techno – he found his true passion. 

One of the other reasons, why he's loving the scene, is being togheter. Feeling connection between people and the music is really important for him, especially dancing! 

He travelled Berlins and Tiblisian scene  – which stand for themselves. 

„Dancing is a great passion of mine, which I love to do in interaction with other people to fast beats in a wild and mesmerizing environment.“

In his current style of DJing, he's  focusing on a high tempo and a selection of driving, mystical and hypnotic with precise sound elements, which can also be found in this mix.

„For me, techno is not just about DJing and dancing, it's political. It offered and is still offering opportunities to create places of freedom of expression where alternative cultures and identities come together creating new spaces of experience that the world urgently needs. Never forget where techno came from and what values it stands for! <3 Especially in times like these!“

In his set for verschwommen he came up with a raw, analogue – driving experience. Driving rhythms and fast hihats setting the mood to dance and free yourself.

Mode_1 is a techno producer and DJ and a resident for one of the most consistent collectives in Dublin, Subject. He produces clean and powerful peak time techno and his DJ sets would be best described as fast and trippy with a groove. As a Subject resident, he plays regularly at two of the city’s best venues, District 8 and Index as well as festivals such as Life Festival, Electric Picnic and Boxed Off.

Mode_1 started releasing music in 2018with his track “Oíche” featured on Berghain resident Fiedel’s Double Mixpack EP, Appendix.2019was an exciting year for the artist with the release of his debut E.P “Final Approach” on French label Knotweed Records and later featured his track “Return” on Fiedel’s new label Super Sound Tool.2020 sawMode_1 back on Knotweed with his EP “Mainframe” and on Fiedel’s label Fiedel Two with the ‘’4x4 Series Pt1’’ EP as well asa release on the legendary label, Naked Lunch Records with his EP ‘’Pusher’’.

The artist has released music on labels such as Insolate & Volster’s imprint, Out of PlaceRecords, Spanish label, Prophecy and Irish labels CircuitStructureRecords and Research Label. 
Mode_1 has also released 3 independent EPs as part of the M1M series and has had the honor of doing remixes for artists such asTruncate , Vinicius Honorio, and Jay Clarke.

The artist has since released his 3rd and 4th consecutive EPs,“Movements”and“Reactor”on KnotweedRecords

After a stellar debut release in 2023, vinyl-only label Dust in Grooves, sees its anticipated second EP Reclaim, showcasing one of Dublin’s gleaming underground talents Mode_1. Establishing DIG as a progressive sonic platform, founder Olivia Mendez is also curating a series of dynamic augmented reality covers for each EP. Adding more layers into the sound experience of the Reclaim vinyl is motion designer and visual artist from Los Angeles Omer Avarkan.

Mode_1’s dedication to uncovering layers of tough but rhythmic grooves, both as a DJ and a producer, has led him to make a mark on legendary techno imprints such as Knotweed, FiedelTwo, Truncate and Naked Lunch. Staying true to his advancing, dynamic sound laid with dexterous technique, Robert Kavanagh delivers a collection of four ominous tracks, pulsating with incandescent pads and pacey drums.

The EP opens with the relentless and driving Sigma, setting the tone for a swiftly moving ride across the record. With playful shifting of gears and jacking rhythms, the A2 flows into the next track Dusty Room, utilising the bleepy pitches in contrast to the expansive spheric tones, offering an energetic boost of a melodic techno...  more

Als erste Podcast-Ausgabe präsentieren wir euch das DJ-Duo SIX DIMENSIONS, das 2019 die Veranstaltungsreihe 6D. in Hamburg gegründet hat. Ihre Mission ist einfach: ein echtes Underground-Erlebnis zu bieten, das sowohl lokale als auch internationale Talente in einer inklusiven Umgebung präsentiert. Der Fokus liegt dabei darauf, hochwertige Musik zu liefern, ohne Ablenkungen durch Hype oder kommerzielle Agenden.
SIX DIMENSIONS Sound ist inspiriert aus zeitlosem Techno, der auf moderne Weise ausgedrückt wird und von unzähligen gemeinsamen Erfahrungen die in den letzten 15 Jahren auf verschiedensten Dancefloors gesammelt worden sind. Ihre Hingabe und ihre Skills haben ihnen eine Residency im bekannten PAL in Hamburg eingebracht.

Was ist eure liebste gemeinsame Dancefloor-Erfahrung?

Dimi: Pollerwiesen Minus Open Air 2013 in Leverkusen - Richie Hawtins Closing am Ende des Tages als die Sonne unter ging und diese alienartige Musik aus den Speakern kam. Der Vibe auf dem Dancefloor, unbezahlbar!
Enes: Auf einem Open Air in Hannover 2012, als Richie Hawtin gespielt hat und seine Effekte hat reinspielen lassen, er war so gut! Dimi und ich konnten nicht glauben, was er da macht.

Welche Musik abseits von Techno inspiriert euch?

Enes: Ambient, Micro House, OG Trance von früher, aber auch Oldschool Rap aus den 90ern
Dimi: Hip Hop (90er), Jazz, Blues

As the first podcast edition we present you the DJ duo SIX DIMENSIONS who founded the event series 6D. in Hamburg, Germany in 2019. They focus on delivering quality music without the distractions of hype or commercial agendas ever since. Their mission is simple: to provide a genuine underground experience, featuring both local and international talent within an inclusive environment. INTERVIEW
What is your favorite shared dancefloor experience?

Dimi: Pollerwiesen Minus Open Air 2013 in Leverkusen - Richie Hawtin's closing at the end of the day when the sun went down and this alien-like music came out of the speakers. The vibe on the dancefloor, priceless!
Enes: At an Open Air in Hanover in 2012 when Richie Hawtin played and had his effects played in, he was so good! Dimi and I couldn't believe what he was doing.

What music apart from techno inspires you?

Enes: Ambient, micro house, OG trance from the past, but also old school rap from the 90s
Dimi: Hip hop (90s), jazz, blues

6D. Podcast 001 - SIX DIMENSIONS

Uzaka becomes the first guest artist on Arctronic Records. The DJ is at the controls of this second release of the label with four originals tracks that perfectly define its mission: raw and enveloping techno with a constant intensity.  The fifth track is a remix by the label's creator, Álvaro H, whose mission is to land with more progressive and groovy sounds, without losing the dark path that has been started.
