RedLotus has always had a passion for music, starting with drumming at the young age of 7. Over the years he has explored various genres, from jazz and hiphop to postpunk and drum and bass, before finding his sound in Industrial Techno. He has mainly focused on producing, developing a dark and heavy sound with a focus on percussive grooves. This style is also reflected in his sets, which can be characterised by relentless kicks and rich soundscapes and grooves.

Colombian DJ/producer CHOKER drops a massive set of hard techno bombs on us for [nstbt_podcast_117] 🔥

Juan Acosta Aka CHOKER has been DJing since 2020 after many years of attending various events as a raver. Under the watchful guidance of German Beltran aka TYSK and Cesar Riaño Aka SETH from the Azend Records collective. He soon started playing gigs and recording mixes for various events, online radio shows and podcasts.

In 2022 he ventured into music production under the direction of Edwin Fresneda Aka KILLERSTRIKE, creating his own unique style of hard techno beats. 

Having played in and promoted many grind and crust punk bands, Juan brings that same intensity to his hard techno sets and productions.

About Me:
6head_slug is a Melbourne based hardtechno DJ/Producer/Promoter, who has been bringing his own unique blend of hard and funky beats to Melbourne's dance floors over the past 19 years.

The beat of the drum and his love for music has driven him from a young age, although It wasn't until 2004 when he brought a set of turntables and his first few records, did he realize that it was what he wanted to do with his life.

Since then he has been refining his sound, and pushing forward in the hope of inspiring others, preaching that 'you don't need to change who you are to fit in in this world...'

In June of 2008 he started "No sleep till bedtime..." A series of parties catering for the harder styles of dance music, which has since played host to some of of Melbourne's best local talent, and special guest interstate DJ's.

2024 sees 6head_slug more focused than ever, as he uses his [nstbt_podcast] series and digital labels to help push the harder sounds of techno in Melbourne, and to share the sounds of Melbourne with the rest of the world!
