I used a whole bunch of indian percussions as well as traditional Arabic melodies in this. It's a shorter one, but I hope you still like it :D

"tere ni karara mainu patiya" Another remix of a classic folk punjabi song., originally released in 1967.

The song is about a boy singing to a girl who broke his heart. The chorus roughly translates into "your promises were all lies; tell me, what did I get from loving you?"

This song was originally sung by Lal Chand Yamla Jatt. Born in 1914, the people of Punjabi grew up listening to his sounds. He passed away in 1991. Yamla Jatt is famed for his use of the authentic Punjabi instrument, the tumbi, which is associated with the North of India. Despite his high standing in the Bhangra music world, by the time Lal died, he had very little money left or anything to show from his illustrious career. His family now live in Ludhiana in near poverty with his grandsons working as labourers, scrimping and saving to make ends meet. There should be a documentary about his life coming out soon.
