The skin absorbs. The body swallows. But never digests.
It is no longer a choice. It is a mechanism. Something moves beneath the skin, a shiver becoming structure, a memory turning to flesh.
We build walls around the unseen, we shape rules to mask instinct. And yet, the gears are already turning.
A form in the blind spot. A sentence spoken before being thought. An unfamiliar taste on the tongue, as if someone had decided before us.
Because thirst never disappears— it transforms. Into other gestures. Into other skins. Into other excesses.

The air here tastes of bruised plums and the voices of those not quite gone. Paths shift when unobserved. Roots whisper beneath the skin. Dreams take on the shape of birds.

No one plants in the Black Orchard.
No one harvests.
It grows by memory alone.

Doors opening onto seasons that dissolve like wet chalk.
Somewhere a remote pauses the storm before it speaks my name
