Professionally, I started DJing and promoting nightclubs in 1991.  My partners and I threw some of the first raves in San Diego after I spent a summer in NYC and experienced "big clubs" as well as many infamous LA break in parties.

My main passion is soulful, funky vocal house with fat bass lines as well as dark and minimal tech house with a sick groove.  80% of my 5,000+ records were purchased from my friend's record store in San Francisco between 1999 to 2005 so there is very much a San Fran/West Coast vibe to my collection.  All my collection is from the late 1980s to 2005.

Yes, I still have stuff like The Bouncer, James Brown is Dead, Bombscare, Start da Panic all on wax.  = )

For the past 10 years music was put on hold due to my professional life in finance, but now I have decided to bring it back.  I have lived and DJed in NYC, San Francisco, San Diego, Los Angeles and recently moved to Helsingborg, Sweden where I would like to see if my style of music has an audience.

I have DJ'ed small after parties, was the resident DJ for a nightclub (played 5 nights a week) that could hold 500 people and a few 1,000+ events.

Although I have a Pioneer DDJ-SSX, I prefer mixing vinyl records vs using a laptop...just feels more "real" and connected with the music.

I have also started getting back into music production with Ableton, Reason etc...right now its just fun mash ups and tinkering...but I've always had 3 major goals in my life.  I have accomplished 2 in my other profession.  There is one left, and its related to music...
