Hey party People!

Welcome back to another monthly artist guest mix at the Disco Data Podcast. This time around we're switching things up with a lesser known guest DJ. After all, our aim is to get the good music to your ears and this guy has been catching our eye recently.
 
Based out of Eugene, Oregon, Rortron started DJing and producing at the beginning of 2018. Since then, he has fallen in love with providing good vibes on the dance floor and in your headphones and home speakers. He has DJ’d at places like Sessions Music Hall, Sam Bond’s, Cowfish, Thinking Tree Spirits, and many others in his local area.

His enthusiasm for dancing and appreciating amazing shows has shaped him to always make his performances memorable. He realizes it’s about the people in the crowd and creating a selection of inviting vibes that make people want to come back for more. 

Rortron is keenly aware that people come to shake their asses and have a good time. He is eternally grateful for the opportunity to DJ and spread joy.

Via his residencies in Ibiza and gigs all over the globe @mrdoris is a name which has become synonymous with top class djing. With the club world in permanent lockdown in 2020 he has used the time wisely heading into the studio to create a series of top class party jams which are now starting to pop up across some of the best labels out there. 70Five started spinnin’ vinyl on chancy belt-drive turntables in 1995. Back then it was all jungle and drum and bass, which was the staple for him for over more than a decade. While entering the new millennium 70Five got more into funk, disco, house, hip hop and bass music, evolving into his signature sound today. He has played with heavyweights like Krafty Kuts, A-Skillz, Featurecast, Jayl Funk, Chali 2na, The Funk Hunters and Stickybuds.

70Five is also one of the co-founders of Bang 'n Mash, the Amsterdam based party funk collective.
