Yes, I dread holidays,and  it shouldn't this way
but my trauma-bond nostalgia just replays
static- in my heart knows it's just another day
to be picked apart, as they color my rainbow grey
"why can't you just suck it up about our toxic ways?"
as she refers to my life as 'the bad poetry phase'
Firestarter here , 80's made, if i don't find out
what drawer are the razorblades?! ...and my, my how
she's perfected the art of passive aggressive shade
cause i was born to call a spade a spade
I'd fit in, if only I'd  learn to just conform and fade
Games never interested me, so I never played (I win)
except my daily to do list: crossed out - zombies slain 
i was born to run, but certainly not towards the haze
me and my voices won't be laid 
to rest, with those who gave up in the maze and stayed
keep yappin' that mouth in that recliner (not fazed)
i stay in my corner, why this boxer never gets a raise
fuck, get me another Excedrin and vodka straight
oh, eat your dead animals that took you all day,
reminds me to step outside to feed the strays
I long to leave behind the white trash holidaze
you can't hear this middle finger,  (blood) babes?
let me turn it up for ya cause clarity saves (time)
can't accept your own?  then, you ain't riding these waves

to humor the stars for Love-
just a lil' humor on mourning-lit nights??
...Now counts his sheep in mirrors
while glued to the regret throne;
flowers always out of reach,
though mirage-petals pretend to fall
at his feet
He bosses around rocks all day,
teaching them how to sink but first, skip
all the good stuff;
how to avoid CHANGE and STAY
violently secretive,
how to hoard space in the garden 
without EVER growing...
He watches HER dancing in the Garden
of Dreams while volcanoes brew 
in his veins
'cause weeds took over 
his dirty deeds
Maybe he used the wrong pesticide: GREED
He shows them his best impression 
of a paperweight-
How to be a good lil' rock 101:
Never show emotion,
even when someone paints a smile on you...

Little corpses stuck
to my glossed-up lips
Pretty dead boy;
hands on my lively hips
Unspoken words
unravel mummy loon
Gravedigger fell in;
can't fool a full moon
Wanna push me 'cause
can't see what eye see...
They love me hard- high
on their own darkness
String them together;
boy candy necklace
Wanna choke me; shut up
a fantasy???
Laugh at the rope burn
and call it tough love?!
DREAM ON BOYS, 
I'm what nightmares are made of
I wear them well
and eat them one by one...
Sour and breakable
...then there were none.

YOu wanted to play Chess 
but nah bitch,
we gonna play Twister.
That's what I do-
I'm a game changer.
Since you had me all twisted up
in your twisted mind ~
You tried to bore me to death .
I had to switch up the board.
I had to bring the color
and bend over for something 
that could keep me awake for once.
You can't be lazy if you wanna play
with me.
Tick-tock, tick-tock, checkmate,
blah, blah, blah....
Boredom is a pathetic way to die!!!
So, I can't hang around you, honey.
Well, spin the dial, it's your turn.
Wait, wait, wait...
Can you play Twister without a backbone???
Nope.
You gotta go back to your board-
back to your black and white world.

Listen up. If someone is playing mind games with you,
trying at every angle to confuse you and nothing makes sense, that is not love. Gaslighting is not love. Control is not love. Emotional abuse leads to mental health issues and decline in physical health. And it can happen rather quickly. This Valentine's Day, love yourself and evaluate the relationships in your life. When it comes to someone skilled at covert emotional abuse, the only way you can win the game is to not play at all. Love is not supposed to be complicated. It's a brand new age and emotional abuse will not be tolerated. If someone has your head and heart in knots, for your own health you must consider, just #walkaway
