Delving deep into bass music and modern EDM culture, UK based Zack Morris AKA Ascendix is a multi-bass genre artist fusing Heavy Dubstep, Bass House, Drum And Bass and many more all into one project.

Zack started finding interest in music as far back as 2016 and slowly over time started to develop the passion for creating his own work. On the 23rd of August 2022, Zack downloaded FL Studio for the very first time and found possibilities endless within the software. Using inspirations from the likes of Skrillex, The Prodigy, Virtual Riot, RIOT and plenty more, there was an idea of gifting something enjoyable to the modern bass music industry. Years of hard work on improving production and sound design will bring together a project under the alias 'Ascendix'.

The Ascendix project contains multiple subgenres of bass music, the most common being heavy dubstep. Involving strong elements of raging energy from Modern Brostep and the underlying heaviness from Tearout Dubstep forming 'Bearout' which is the name chosen for this style. Playing the card of diversity by switching genre is an attempt to bring exciting things for bass music lovers.

Selecting Music Production as a college course in September of 2024, opened new possibilities for building and expanding new skills in production, and in the background started building an online persona as a producer. While currently studying at college, Zack discovered his natural ability to play the drums, he used this to create music in a group with his friends for college work, and from this, is gaining creativity skills which will be implemented into the music he will bring under Ascendix.
