Having started out as a live drummer for over 10 years, Subver5ion started producing electronic music in his small home studio 4 years ago. This was initially only a hobby but he quickly found a natural talent for producing diverse original material. Within the first year Subver5ion released his debut EP 'Hangman' through Certified Bass Records and since then has had numerous releases on other labels such as Dirt Lies & Audio Black, C Recordings and Liquid Boppers. 

Covering multiple genres of Drum and Bass, dubstep and even dub/reggae, Subver5ion's style is always deep, dark and original.

Subver5ion is now looking to push his production skills and is always searching for new labels and artists to work with.

Originally from the back woods of Danville, Virginia, Winston Fowlkes, AKA Genesis Rising, currently resides in Southwest Florida. He is a resident DJ at Rize Nightclub and Terrace in Port Charlotte, FL, and routinely spins events in other cities in Florida including Fort Myers, Sarasota, Bradenton, Tampa, Orlando, and Miami.

Winston began producing EDM in 2010, moving to Florida the following year. He started off producing Dubstep, and then later included Electro House, Big Room House, Progressive House, Trap, and Moombahcore to his arsenal. His biggest influences are: Knife Party, Zomboy, Bassnectar, Far Too Loud, Pegboard Nerds, Skism, Pretty Lights, Skream, Deorro, Candyland, and Excision to name a few. Ultimately he would like to be able to innovate Electronic Dance Music and bring something unique to the table. He has been developing his self as a serious musician for a couple of years, devoting whatever time he can to the craft.

Winston has had many setbacks in his life, he basically had to start over in 2010, but he swore to be successful in his passion, hence the name...”Genesis Rising”. His goal is to eventually tour on a national level and be a recognized and respected name in the EDM community.
