The Black Star Experiment is a music producer from Connecticut who creates ambient and industrial music with a dark atmospheric vibe. He has been making music for over 20 years and has been influenced by bands such as Nine Inch Nails, Radiohead, Team Sleep, Pink Floyd, and many others.

The writer and producer started experimenting with a 4-track recorder and a drum machine in the late 90s. He was then introduced to the world of digital audio workstations (DAWs) and began using Ableton Live. He has been using Ableton Live ever since and is a self-taught producer with a deep understanding of sound design and music production.

The Black Star Experiment’s music is dark and atmospheric, but it is also beautiful, melodic, and thought-provoking. The “experiment” is a musical journey into the subconscious and it is sure to leave a lasting impression on anyone who listens to it.

The group’s first album “The Crucial Line”, was released independently in October 2006.The bands sophomore debut “Arm Yourself” was released in January 2009 completely funded by fans on <a href="http://Sellaband.com" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">Sellaband.com</a>.
Armed with more determination than ever, Bulletproof Messenger shows no signs of slowing down.  With a new material in the works, a new album in roughly scheduled for release within the next year.



4star is a German musician and producer known best as bassist of his band El Postre.
By 2008, after 11 years of El Postre (which was formed back in 1997) 4star started collecting ideas for a solo release. Many demos were scratched and the real final demoing started in March 2011.
Due to his involvement with El Postre, which always is 4star´s priority, and working on the bands upcoming album, it is yet unknown when this project will come to life.
4star plays and records everything on his own.
